Chapter ten: Bet

Fred pov:

I woke up today by being bloody slapped in the face by my own twin. "Bloody hell George, what was that for'' I practically yelled at him.

"Have you forgotten what is happening today?" He asked like I was dumb. I mean I am but still.

"It's time for me to get some well-needed rest," I said while trying to go back to sleep.

"Bloody hell Fred, your little crush is coming over to stay for 3 days, get out of bed" At these words, I basically jumped out of bed. I quickly got ready, ignoring my twin and his laugh.

When we were downstairs we had to help our mother make food and clean the house. During the holidays, George and Ron and I had told mum, and dad all about Evie, and Ron had the audacity to say that I like her.

I swear I chased him for a good 10 minutes straight. And now our mum really wanted her to stay for some days, which she agreed to.

When she arrived our mother took her into one of her bone-crushing hugs making the rest of us laugh in the back. Which resulted in getting a look from her that could kill anyone.

After that, we gave her a tour and went outside. "Hey I bet I would win a race from this side to the other," Evie said, looking confident.

"On broom or on foot," George said intrigued.

"Let's say 2 galleons on foot and 5 sickles on a broom"

"Easy" Both, George and Ron said.

"Pay up losers'' She said smiling.

"How on earth did you get so fast-" "and how did the three of us lose to a girl? '' George finished for me.

"Well first of all I am lighter and smaller than any of you, and I went to an all boys school for two years. If you weren't fast you got caught." She said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Are you going to Harrys later?"

"Yeah mum said you could take floo with us if you would like" Answered Ron. She nodded as we headed back inside.

The next few days were mostly filled with talking and the three of us pranking Ron. Dad also attacked Evie with questions about the muggle school systems and things like that. She didn't seem to mind though.

She really liked talking about her school. We were soon getting ready to floo over to Harry. We were going two and two, Me with Evie and Ron with George. As soon as we got to our destination we were greeted with a happy looking Harry.

Harry pov:

I suddenly heard a loud bang coming from the fireplace and I knew that they had arrived. When I came there they were all covered in dust, and it took everything in me not to laugh at them.

"Oh go ahead and laugh Harry, I can see it all over your face. Just get it out of your bloody system" Evie said looking a bit annoyed.

I couldn't help it anymore and burst out laughing. She hit me in the arm pretty hard after about a minute of me laughing. "OW!"

"That's what you get for being rude" She said while smiling. "

Anyway, changing the subject. How was it over at the Weasleys?" I asked in fear of getting hit again. She may be tiny but she has a nasty punch.

"It was really fun and we had a bet and all three of them lost" She said looking quite happy about her own efforts.

"Oh shut it" Ron said while still getting dust off of him.

"Hello, you must be Evie, I'm Sirius. Sirius Black, Harry's godfather." I didnt even realise he was here.

"Oh hi I'm Evie. Evie Lupin. Nice to finally meet you, my father talks about you all the time. And thanks for letting me stay here for a couple of days Padfoot" I saw my adoptive father smile as she called him Padfoot.

"I see he has told you about our own school days"

"Yes he has, and to say I'm impressed with what I have heard"

After this I gave them a tour of the house and we sat down playing different games, and ate a lot of snacks. At one point of the 3 days they were staying I could hear a scream who I knew to be Rons.

However before I saw Ron, I saw the twins and Evie running away. I soon realised why they were running.

He came down with light pink hair. I fell to the floor with laughter

"Oh shut it Harry'' Ron complained.

"Don't worry Ron, it will wear off in a couple of days'' George tried to assure him. It did not help and the three of them ran for their lives.
