"Can you believe it's been six years?" asked Helena.

"To be honest, no. No, I can't," replied Astrid.

"Kinda sad though, one more year to go? It went by too fast! Not to mention as absolutely nothing happened." said Helena

"It wasn't that uneventful, especially all the things that happened to me. Boring would be an understatement."

"No offense, but your parents seemed like dickheads." Said Finn walking over to their table. "Again, understatement, anyway did you find the book?"

"No, but I found some other ones that are sort of kind of related." Finn placed a large stack of books on the table and took a seat next to Helena. Astrid noticed a blush creep up on Helena's face and rolled her eyes. It had been made quite clear that Finn and Astrid had been together since 4th year, but since Helena's arrival, their relationship had slowly been deteriorating.

She had barely any evidence that something was going on between them, but that gut feeling deep down told her that something was. However, until she could have hardcore evidence, Astrid had to sit down and watch the two so very obviously flirt. "Hey Finn, are we still going down to the lake tonight?" asked Helena. Astrid looked over at Finn then back at Helena. "Why would you two be hanging out at the lake, especially after hours?"

Finn visibly tensed up. "Oh, he's just helping me with a project we have for Divination!"

Astrid quirked up her brow. "And that can't be done in the common room?"

"Really, Astrid, you need to stop worrying so much! We get it. He's your boyfriend, but you can't keep acting as no one else can speak to him. You're not his fucking owner! He himself told me the other day that he's tired of you!"

Astrid began to rage with anger, but she managed to keep her face calm and cold. "Really, Finn, is that how you feel about me? Do you feel like I'm controlling you to no point of freedom?"

Finn looked at her, a worried look plastered upon his face. "Well, then that concludes this conversation!" Astrid got up and began to grab her things. "No, Astrid, wait, stop!" Finn tried to grab her arm, but before she could, Helena pushed him back down into his seat. "See you two tomorrow, if you aren't fucking in a broom closet that is."

She picked up her bag from the floor and left the library, quickening her pace every time she felt another pair of eyes follow her.

She could care less about Finn or Helena. Sure she partially cared about her relationship with Finn, but what she cared about most was people feeling like they have the right to go behind her back.
