I woke up with a jult from another nightmare I've been having them lately I looked at my alarm clock it was '3:00' I smiled and yawned I sat up on my bed stretching I tiptoed to my wardrobe and got some clothes out and put them on my bed. I then tiptoed to my door and creaked it open.
I checked the coast was clear before tiptoeing downstairs and lightly knocking on the cabinet door under the stairs and I got a knock back I unlocked it and there he was. Harry sitting in the cramped space "Do you want to come upstairs Harry?" I asked sitting on the end of his bed leaning against the shelf "Yes please" he answered I nodded and climbed out he climbed out after I put out my hand for him to hold he gripped it and we climbed the stairs I looked down the hall and at my door that was open I looked at him and nodded he nodded back I ran lightly into my room and shut the door then turned around and walked over to my bed it was '3:05' in the morning now I smiled at Harry and opened my arms and he hugged me putting his face into the crook of my neck "Get some sleep Harry I'll wake you up in time" "Ok" he mumbled into my neck and walked over to my bed getting under the covers and shutting his eyes he looked peaceful too peaceful..his eyes were emerald green the moonlight reflected on his face. I walked over to him and kneeled down and carefully took his glasses off his face and put them on the bed side table
*2 Hours Later*
..................Harry's POV...................
"Harry!" A yelling whisper said
"Harry wake up!"
"Harry James Potter you wake up right now!"
I rubbed my eyes sitting up "huh?" I saw Y/n infront of me wow she looks pretty! No Harry what?
"Harry quickly it's 5:58! They will all be up in two minutes! Cmon!" She whisper yelled in my face she ran to the door and opened it I grabbed my glasses and went out the bedroom her following me
She opened my 'bedroom' door "Well see you in a few minutes Harry" she said smiling "Yup see ya" I said shutting my door I heard the lock go and footsteps above me I got under my covers
.....................Y/n's POV.................
"Y/n wake up it's Dudley birthday" Petunia said in a gentle voice and I heard running behind her it was Dudley of course then Petunia went downstairs and I heard knocking it was obviously her getting Harry's attention
"Get up Harry!" Petunia shouted in an annoyed tone
I then heard jumping I walked out of my room in my pyjamas

I saw Dudley jumping on the stairs jumping up and down shouting "Wake up cousin!" He then laughed and ran downstairs I heard someone's head bang against something I ran downstairs to check who got hurt and I saw Harry opening his 'door' rubbing his head I ran up to him and hugged him he hugged me back "You ok?" I asked "Fine" I felt him smile I nodded and we both went through the door and we saw Dudley talking to his dad
"How many are there!?"
"36! Counted them myself"
"36?! 36?! Last year I got 37!"
"Ah well yes you see" he got cut off by Petunia "How about when we go out today we will get you two new presents"
Harry put one of his pancakes on a plate and gave me the pan there were only 3 left so I put them on 3 plates. 1 for Dudley, 1 for Vernon and 1 for Petunia I took the three plates and handed the three them then Vernon shouted over to Harry "Get my coffee will you boy" he sighed "Yes uncle Vernon" I raced over to the coffee before Harry could get it I grabbed it and he gave me a 'really?' look I nodded and walked past him to Vernon and passed him the coffee he put it down on the cabinet next to him and got up and walked over to Harry and slapped him I gasped and my hands clapped over my mouth "Stupid boy I told you to get it not Y/n!" "Umm- Vernon he didn't tell me to give it to you I got to the coffee before he got the chance" I said twiddling my thumbs he turned around "Oh ok then" he went back and sat down like nothing happened I rushed over to Harry and hugged him tight I whispered to him choking on my words "I'm so so so sorry Harry I didn't think that would've happened-" He hugged me back and rubbed my back "It's ok I'm alright"
I ran downstairs in my clothes and everyone was walking outside to the car I put on my trainers and ran out to the car and got it then Vernon shut my door quickly he then said something to Harry then opened the door again for Harry to get in he sat next to me and put his seatbelt on after me
We saw a rather big snake and Dudley and Vernon were knocking on the glass "He's asleep!" Harry shouted "Boring" Dudley said walking off I walked over to the other snake cage next to the one Harry was looking at
I looked over and Harry was on the floor and Dudley was looking at the snake I kneeled next to him "Are you ok Harry?"
"Ye-"
"Harry?" I looked behind me and there was the snake I froze and I heard someone banging on what sounded like glass I looked where the snake cage was and Dudley was inside and Petunia and Vernon were freaking out Harry was smirking and Vernon gave him a glare
When we returned home I got told to go upstairs I walked to the stairs then whispered to Harry "Sorry"
"Don't worry"
I ran upstairs and I heard shouting from Vernon and Harry then a slam probably Harry being put in the cabinet I walked downstairs and went into the lounge and sat on the sofa "Is Harry in the cabinet?" I asked looking at the floor "Yes" Vernon replied smirking like a git I nodded and got a cup of water from the kitchen then walked out to the cabinet door and knocked on it slightly he knocked back I opened the door and gave him the water and hugged him "Sorry Harry"
"For what"
"For this morning and at the zoo"
"It's ok Y/n"
"I don't get why they mistreat you"
"Me either"
"Boy get the post!" Vernon shouted from the lounge I walked over and got the post then shuffled through them we both mumbled under our breath "Bills"

"Y/n McGonagall" we looked at eachother we both walked in the lounge he had the post in his hand while I had my letter in my hand
