"Ow!" 

The sudden weight on your back knocked the air out of you, making you grunt against the pillows. The girl above you giggled at your reaction before closing in on your ear.

"Wake up sleepyhead! Wake up! Wake up!" 

The girl loudly said in her high-pitched voice while shaking you. Constantly wiggling her body against yours. 

Chuckling at your girlfriend's antics, you lifted yourself up with your elbows. You turned to her and greeted, "Well good morning to you too, Ms. Lee."

Smiling, Saerom leaned in and gently rubbed her nose against yours. You did the same. "Good morning!" 

From your peripheral, you noticed a camera sitting on top of your bedside table. You looked at it and saw that the light was red, it was recording. 

Following your gaze, Saerom reassured you. 

"Oh! That's for the vlog."

~ Yesterday ~

"Y/n-ah, can I ask you something?" 

"Yeah, Rom?" 

You looked up at your girlfriend from your side of the couch, seeing her fiddle with her fingers. You shifted your position to let her know she had your full attention. 

"Do you mind if I- wait, no. Uhm.. Do you mind being in my vlog?" 

"Being in your vlog.. You mean me actually in your vlog? Face uncensored and all that?" 

Honestly, you were excited but the thought of how the fans would take it terrified you. Various scenarios started flooding your thoughts. From fans getting all giddy from seeing you two all lovey-dovey to them bashing you non-stop and disapproving your relationship. 

Saerom waved her hands in slight panic. "Oh no no no, we can blur your face if you want." 

As much as negative outcomes were still roaming free in your head, you realized something. 

"If I do get to be in your video… Then that means this'll be the first time everyone will see me. Like see me in action with you and all.." 

Oh to hell with them. It's my and Saerom's relationship, not theirs.

Saerom stared at you worried, hoping your mind hasn't started to wander near the dark corners. 

"Baby?" 

"I'll do it."

You looked at the girl with a smile, your eyes burning with determination. The corners of her lips curled up while her eyes sparkled. And in the most high-pitched voice, "You will?!". 

You nodded with a hum and opened your arms towards her. She then tackled you into the couch, engulfing you in her tight embrace. 

"Oh my god! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

~ Present ~

You and Saerom were now having breakfast in the kitchen, discussing your plans for the day. Cameras, one for each of you, were placed on the table, facing the both you. 

"So we go there first and then…" 

"And then we go to that new café you've been talking about." 

Saerom placed her fork on the plate, thinking hard while chewing her food. 

"Baby, which café? You know I've talked about a lot of those these past few days."

"The French one, hun. The… L'étoile café? Is that right? You know, the star café one."

"Ohhhh, that one."

You hummed as you shoved a piece of pancake in your mouth. Saerom, on the otherhand, started giggling. You only looked at her confused, an eyebrow raised. 

"Baby, that's not new." 

"It's not?" 

"Nope." 

You shrugged your shoulders, "Whatever." Saerom laughed at your reaction, you also started laughing along at her contagious laughter. 

"We'll just go to whatever new café you've always wanted to go to- Hey! Stop laughing!" 

~ Fast Forward ~

"Why are they all closed?" Saerom whined as you gave her ice cream from the ice cream truck in the park. 

"Well, guess we should've double-checked today's date."

The girl only whined and sulked even further on her side of the bench. You only stood in front of her, eating your ice cream. 

"I should've known today was a holiday." 

"Well, I should've known too. But hey, at least we got to go to that café."

Saerom stayed quiet, still sulking with a pout on her lips. Meanwhile, her ice cream started to melt.

You gently pushed her hand with the ice cream towards her, "Babe, your ice cream's melting."

Despite telling her, she still stayed quiet and didn't move an inch. Noticing how her eyes were "focused", you sighed, knowing how deep she was in her thoughts. 

"If you won't eat your ice cream, I'll eat it then." You were about to take it when suddenly, your hand was slapped away. Saerom had heard what you said. She then quickly licked her ice cream all over before glaring at you. 

"Mine!" 

"You think coating your ice cream with saliva will stop me from eating it?" You scoffed, finishing your last bite of the cone. 

"Girl, I've made out with you millions of times for the past 2 years of our relationship. Your saliva ain't gonna stop me from eating that ice cream in your hand."

"Hey!" 

Saerom, now blushing hard, was shocked at how bold your words were. But what's even more shocking was how you easily you said those in the presence of cameras. Saerom hoped it wasn't included in by the editor. 

(It was, since Saerom was the editor. Though, she only deleted the second half and slipped in a meme as to censor the rest of your words.) 

Seeing your girlfriend's red face, you were confused. 

"Why are you so flustered? It's true though." You remarked ever so nonchalantly. 

Saerom then lifted the camera, as if to signal what she was referring to. Not long, the realization finally hit you when you started blushing. 

"Oh my god.." 

"Yeah, 'oh my god' alright." 

Regaining your composure, you cleared your throat and immediately changed the topic. 

"Ehem, so uhh.. Wanna go to an arcade?" 

"An arcade?! Where?!" 

The idol quickly stood up, her eyes sparkled at you with excitement. You smiled at how her inner-child made its appearance. You grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the park's exit. 

"You know that arcade where we first bumped into each other?" 

"The one where you won that teddy bear for me on our first date?" 

"Yep! Good to know you're not that old yet." 

"Are you saying I'm that forgetful?!" 

"It depends on how you take it, Granny Rom~" 

"Hey!"
