Faelee was awoken by a knock at her door. "your highness" it was the voice of one of the maids. " you need to wake up I know you haven't been out for the past two days but today is your mothers funeral you need to come out today."

Faelee sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes she was hoping all this had been a dream but she was wrong. " ok, fine im up" she said with distain in her voice.

"good because we have a dress for you to wear for the funeral" Mareith said. Mareith was one of her favorite maids. She was a lot like faelees mother. "can I come in your highness?"

"yes but only you" faelee replied.

Mareith opened the door, " good morning dear how are you feeling this morning?"

"well I lost one of the most important people in my life, now I have to put her to rest. And I have never felt more alone. And... and.." faelee burst into tears. Mareith sat down on the bed next to the crying princess and wrapped her arm around her.

"you know you still have me child I will be here for you" mareith replied with a soothing tone. "now come on child its time to get ready."

"ok" faelee replied wiping the tears from her eyes. She slipped into the long black dress for the funeral. Then she walked down to the courtyard. The funeral was the worst thing she had ever had to go through. After they lowered her mother into the ground faelee turned to run to her room. But before she could take a step her father grabbed her arm.

" I need to see you in my throne room immediately" the look in his eyes made Faelee realize this was urgent.

"yes father" she replied. As the towns people and the castle staff dispersed faelee and her father walked side by side into the throne room.

The king took his seat in his throne while faelee stood in front of him. " faelee after the attack on your mom I got you your very own guard. He is one of the strongest ones we have. Come forth Azlowe."

Faelee looked up and was amazed by what she saw before her. This guard was at least as tall as knaruku and looked much stronger than the bear but there was something different about him that she couldn't put her finger on. She stepped forward. "hello sir Azlowe" she said extending her hand.

The beast grabbed her hand and held it in his. Her hand looked like a tiny rock in his hand. "your highness" he said bowing to the princess.

"Azlowe will follow you where ever you go you will be safe with him around" the king smiled up at Azlowe.

" ok" said faelee. "im planning to go out to the town again today."

"then Azlowe will accompany you" the king said with a strict tone.

"ok come on Azlowe" the princess said. And with that Azlowe and the princess both left the throne room. As they made their way through the castle the princess noticed that Azlowe didn't know his own size. He would bump into other knights and constantly say excuse me he almost knocked a shield off of the wall too. I will be able to easily lose him in town he will be knocking everything over. As they made their way into the city faelee started to realize how right she was. Azlowe kept bumping into carts and knocking over stands.

"im sorry... excuse me.. im so sorry miss rabbit" he kept saying in his deep but kind voice.

This guard doesn't like confrontation or violence he is such a kind hearted beast. I like this guard. Faelee was finally able to sneak away from Azlowe to go to the fairy garden that her mom showed her. As she sat there her thoughts wondered to feawin and his invitation to come and visit him. I might go and see him today.and talk to him and just be with him. Faelees thoughts went back to the handsome stranger, he was so kind and sweet.
