Milo's Pov

Welp, today is the day the kings come to the resort today. Final preparations, event planning, and inspections will happen during the day. And for me, I am in the bakery right now. This was because the boss wanted me to make some of my well known desserts I can make. I always known how to bake. I self taught myself when I was about fifteen years old. And then when I moved to the Florida Keys I worked in this bakery. But it closed down because it was struggling financially on my sixth year. It was really sad closing it down, it was a family business too. They moved to Texas to try again, and I hope their business took off and was more successful.

After they moved, I applied for the job at the resort and happened to bring one of my favorite things to bake for myself. Cinnamon roll pie, and after they hired me I gave them my pie. But once the boss and the managers tasted it, their eyes bulged out of their sockets from the taste. That's one reason I was a baker here on Fridays. I'm a waiter on Mondays to Tuesdays and house keeper and bell man on Wednesdays and Thursday's. That might sound like a rough task to do, but I liked doing multiple things. As I continued to make the last dessert that the boss requested for the welcome party at eight tonight. It was five and I had to get ready since the kings invited us to their parties as well.

I baked multiple pies, cakes, cookies, and many other pastries for this party. I of course got help from Cody and other fellow coworkers. They also loved my baked goods and wanted to know how to make them. This bakery had a lot of ovens, they were pretty big too. We were just finishing putting the last of the doughnuts in the oven when the boss came in to see how we were doing. "Wow guys" the boss then said "this is looking pretty amazing". We cooked over a dozen different kinds of pastries and cakes in the past two hours. Pretty amazing I know for sure, without my team here it would have taken more time. And we have a full house tonight, almost all of our rooms have been taken. Bungalows are all booked up and no longer available. It's this packed because of family and friends , knights or guards and their families, and many towns people are coming over to celebrate their birthday which was on the tenth of July.

"This should be enough for the party tonight" the boss then said with a happy tone "I will have these moved to the party hall". "after this, you guys go home and get ready for the party" he then said while I took out and put the now baked doughnuts on the counter. Man, you got to love these turbo baking ovens these kinds of fancy bakery's have. I put a tooth pick in one of the doughnuts to see if they were perfect, which they were. I then convinced everyone to leave the decorating to me so they can get ready for the welcome party. They then left and I continued on glazing, icing and sprinkling, and filling all of the doughnuts. Of course I didnt do all three at the same time to all of them. I do them in sections for all four hundred dough nuts and did this in under an hour. I still had two more hours to get ready so I went to the locker room and got my sky blue suit and white dress shoes. I hang them up on my locker and grabbed my shower products and towel and went to the shower stalls the break room had for the staff if they wanted a shower. And yes, although men and women share this break room, there is separate shower rooms for showering and prepping yourself with make up and things. I locked the door to my stall before turning on the water on and started washing myself.

I mean, who would want to go to a party looking like someone blew flower onto me. After my shower I dried off and came out. I put a robe on and came out to get my suit and skin care bag. What, boys cant do skin care too, well don't judge me then. I sat down in front of one of the many mirrors this shower room had before I hung my suit on a wall hanger and set my stuff down on the table. I then washed my hands and face before getting my facial cleaner wash and rubbed it on my face before rinsing it off. I then got my nose strip and put it on my nose and pressed on it so it would stick. As I waited, I hear the door open and turned around. "Oh hey Cody" I them said as I see him in the door way with his suit. "Hey, your still here" he then asked, making me nod. "Yeah, well I got all of my stuff here already so might as well get ready here I then said "what about you".
