The Sun Is A Deadly Laser

You know that one day where you just wanna wish it could just be done. Well I'm having one of those days. Today, was really really hot. And everyone was sweating buckets outside. It's like the sun decided to be a laser of heat and make the temperature rise near one hundred. I even woke up in a literal pool of sweat. Unfortunately, that's because my ac decided to break during the night or something. Because when I tried to turn it on. It wouldn't turn on. And no I don't have one of those central fancy air conditioners. You think I could seriously afford that kind. Plus the electric bill would be high. So I got one of those ac's that go in your window. But looks like I need a new one now. And to think I was already sweating at five in the morning. Yes I wake up at that time. And I am pretty sure that everyone dose the same. Ugh, stupid Florida heat. And it looks like I'm not the only air conditioner that broke today. At the worst moment possible. The resorts air conditioning in the building decided to break as well. And then all of the bungalows air conditioners broke just after that. Now leaving no one safe from this whether. Well, except for the people in the pools and water. But they were all crowded. So there was no space for anyone else to cool down. The boss advise everyone to drink a lot of water and if going to wear a lot of sunscreen. And also advised everyone to take as much breaks as they could to prevent the rise of heat exhaustion happening. Wet ice cold towels were being handed out through out the resort for the staff and guests.

The worst of the heat was probably going to hit during the afternoon. And I heard that the temperature would raise over one hundred degrees. At that point if the day. I might as well take off early. But I can't give up on pay checks right. So I pushed on until afternoon hit. Me along with my coworkers and a couple of costumers were sweating our glans dry. I decided to take my break and go visit Dante and the gang. I wanted to see how they were doing in this heat. I walked out of the elevator before walking over to their room. I greeted Chris who was outside their door. He looked sluggish and exhausted. He was even shirtless and covered in sweat. Two other shirtless guards greeted me. Chris opened the door and I walked in. I saw a fan I front of an open fridge. But that didn't seem to be helping that much. I walked into the living room to see the three kings. Dante on the couch laying down miserably. Garrett by the window to hopefully catch a breeze. And Alex who was fanning himself with a paper plate. They were also shirtless and covered in sweat.

"Hey guys" I then said "how are you doing in this miserable heat". "WE HATE IT" they all yelled "ITS A NIGHTMARE". "I know" I then said "that's why I brought you guys ice cream". "ICE CREAM" they all yelled again. This time they sounded happy and excited. "Yup, you heard it right" I then said "I brought us Melona Ice Cream Bars".  "Ooo, are they the ones from South Korea" Alex then asked. "Yup, just brought them from the store" I then said "there's strawberry, mango, coconut, and honeydew melon". "Oh, and I also brought you guys some water, juice, and some popsicles" I then said. "Milo, your such a life saver" Garrett then said "thank you". They all gathered around to grab a bar. They took some water and juice as well. I grabbed some things for the guys outside. I came out and handed them each one of the things. "YOUR HAVING AN ICE CREAM PARTY" I hear a voice yell "WITH OUT ME". "Oh, hey babe" Chris then said "I was just about to call you".

And if your all wondering. Yes, we all know that Chris and Cody are official now. But I am sad because I can't hang out with him anymore. Sure I am happy for them both. But that just means I'm just a third wheel in the relationship. Chris went up and gave Cody a peck on the lips. "How about you all come inside" I then said "there's more if you like". Cody and Chris's agreed and came in. While the other two guards politely declined. We all walked in and sat down. There was no breeze so far. We all groaned in misery from the heat. "Maybe some tv will help" I then said "it can distract us from the heat a little bit". We all agreed before I grabbed the remote. But it looks like I was on cable. Because the next thing we knew. The news was on. And it was not good news.
