The Competition Shook

Milos Pov

Today was a beautiful sunny day. Man, you gotta love these sunny summer days here. Well, except when it is really hot. But this day was pretty good. The sun is shining brightly and a nice breeze was blowing through the air around me. The restaurant I worked at had all of its windows open. There was always that nice breeze coming through. It was lunch time and pretty busy. As I whipped and cleaned off my previous customers table. I looked around to see the guest enjoying the food they ordered. You know some days seeing people happy makes me happy. I pick up my cleaning supplies and put them in the bucket. The dishes have already been taken care of by another fellow coworker of mine. As I was putting away my cleaning supplies in the janitors closet. I thought I heard someone call me. I poke my head out the door to see the front. I then see Dante and the others at the front. I smile and waved at them before completely walking out the closet.

I then walked over to them and greeted them. "Hey guys" I then said as I grabbed a couple of menus. "How's your day going" I then asked them. I think I saw them give each other a death stare before turning back to me. Uh oh, looks like they got up on the wrong side this morning. "We're actually not here to eat" Dante then said. "Are you going on break soon" Garrett then asked me. "Im actually am about to go on break" I then said. They turned and glared at each other again before Alex turned to me. "Can you come with us" Alex then asked "we're going somewhere that you may really like". "Sounds like a good idea to spend my break" I then said "can Cody come". "Of course" Garrett then said "he got asked by Chris earlier so they are both going with us". "That's good to know" I then said "how long are we gonna be out". "About four hours" Dante then said. Man, that's two extra hours over my usual two hours. "Is it far" I then asked again. "Nope, actually it's only a five minute drive" Alex then said.

I sighed in relief. "Great, let me just get ready first" I then said while taking off my apron. I put it under the hamper underneath he desk before signing my name off the clock out sheet. Since I think it's going to take a little while for me to get back here. I walked over to them before we all started to go to my break room. As we walked together. I noticed that they were all giving each other the same glare earlier. "What's wrong guys" I then asked them all "did something bad happen this morning". This snapped them out of their trance instantly. "Uh, yeah something like that" Dante then said "our morning argument just got a little too heated". I nodded from understanding them before I continued walking.

Ten Minutes Later

Before we even got there. Dante gave me some sort of blind fold. "Put this on" he then said. "Why" was all I said before I took it. "You'll see" he then said again. I shrugged before I put it on. Chris made Cody put one on as well before me. This place must be pretty good for a blind fold to be put on. The limousine came to a stop before I hear some doors opening. I hear some music outside but I can't see what it is. It's has a hint of carnival rides going on as well. "Wanna take a guess of where we are" I hear Alex say as we. This was a pretty easy guess. But I still wasn't sure as he helped me out of the limo. "Um, I hear music" I then said. I hear the three chuckle as they we continued to walk. "Yes" Dante then said "we hear music". We then stopped walking as I began to talk again. "Are we at a carnival" I then guessed. "YES" they all yelled excitedly. I took off my blind fold and looked around. Yay, I wanted to got to this carnival for so long. I hugged all three of them one at a time while saying thank you to them. "Aw, your welcome Milo" Alex then said "now let's have some fun".
