Micah shot up off the sofa, falling flat on his face. Scampering up, he jumped behind it watching Sam with wide eyes.
He pointed wildly at the shapeshifter, "You do not move. Stay!"
The worry that was once on Sam's face disappeared and was replaced by one that was clearly not impressed, "I am not a dog."
Micah bit his lip, "Technically, you kinda are." Micah grabbed a pillow as he jumped backwards at Sam's growl, "Hey! No! Bad dog! I will use this, do not come any closer, I don't want to hurt you."
Sam raised a brow, "Your going to hurt me... With a pillow."
"I'm determined! And hey, for all I know, this pillow can turn into a brick!" Micah yelled.
Sam signed, "Micah, can we please just talk about this."
"We are talking."
"I mean about what happened," said Sam.
"Oh, you mean how someone I have known, practically since birth now turns into a giant fucking wolf." Micah reply sarcastically.
Sam rubbed he back of his neck, "Yeah," he mumbled. "That. Look, I know I shouldn't have spring that on you-"
"Yeah, no shit!" Micah snapped, "What the hell did you think was going to happen! We were going to sit down and play tea party? Na!"
"Micah, Please." Sam begged taking a step closer only to stop as Micah taking one back.
"Five minutes." Micah pointed the pillow at him, "Five minutes, and then I am walking out that door."
"Thank you." Sam said quickly, "All the legends you were told, do you remember them?"
Micah nodded his head mutely. "What where they?" Sam asked.
"About Spirit Warriors and Cold Ones."
"Exactly." Said Sam, "All those legends are true."
Micah's arm holding the pillow lowered slightly, "S-So, your a descendant of the wolf?" Micah could remember all the legends Billy had told him. It was one of his favourite things to do as a child. Come to the reservation and listen to Billy's story's.
"Yeah." Sam replied softly, his gaze never wavering from the terrified teen standing in front of him.
"But those where just legends, that's it. Legends!" Micah said stubbornly, his head shaking rapidly.
Sam sighed as he sat down, "I know. Micah, believe me, I know. I was the same as you, I thought they where just story's."
Micah bit his lip, and with slight hesitation, he moved to sit on the sofa in front of him, "What changed."
"I started getting sick." Sam answered, "It started with a fever, and shaking. I was constantly angry. It had to have lasted at least a few days before something in me snapped. Before I could even understand what was going on, I was on all fours and covered in fur."
Micah nodded along as he sat in silence. If it wasn't for the evidence, practically shoved in his face he would have probably believed Sam to be crazy.
Sam turned towards Micah, "Do you believe me."
Micah looked away, "No." me muttered sarcastically.
"But your still listening."
"Alright, Alright!" He began waving his arms around frantically, "Say I believe you, when then? Hmm? What's going to happen to me?"
"Nothing." Sam answered firmly. He wasn't going to let anything happen to him.
Micah scoffed, "Yeah, ok." He rolled his eyes, "Something like that, I'm guessing is a secret and you've just told me. Someone who's not meant to know."
"You would have found out sooner or later. It was just sooner." Sam shrugged nonchalantly.
"No." Micah hummed, "I don't think I would have."
Sam sighed, rubbing his eye, "Yes, you would have. Maybe not from me, but someone would have told you."
Micah shook his head as he checked the time on his little wrist watch, "Five minutes, is up." Standing up, he threw the pillow towards Sam and bolted out of the back door.
As he ran through the trees, Micah paid no mind to all the branches that where scratching his face.
As he was running, he didn't see the small little cliff drop and let out a loud yell as he fell forward, landing in a small riven.
"Cold!" He screamed as he jumped up and began hopping out of the water, trying to shake off as much access as he could.
What Micah didn't know was that his little scream had been carried through the woods and towards a group of very worried, vegan vampires.
"Micah!" They all yelled together. Quick as a whip, they abandoned the deer that they where hunting and shot towards their Mates scream.
The trees seamed to blur past as they ran. The closer they got, the more they smelt the intoxicating sent of there Mate.
Micah was stumbling through the trees, his teeth chattering loudly as he held his drenched coat closer to his body.
Why did I have to go out the back door, he groaned internally. If I had just gone out the front, I could already be on my way home instead of freezing my butt off in the middle of the woods.
The sound of twigs snapping startled Micah out of his mind. Snapping his head to the side, he saw four people appear out of thin air.
Micah's eyes widened when he realise who it was, "He wasn't lying was he." Micah swallowed thickly as he stared as the Cullen males.
Each one was staring at him with there own unreadable expressions. Micah it his lip, taking a step back as stumbling into a tree.
"Micah?" Edward asked taking a step forward, "Why don't you come with us, we can get you something dry to wear."
But Micah wasn't listening, his mind working at rapid speed as he started at the four in front of him.
"You know." Said Jasper. He had gotten a read on Micah's emotions and felt confusion and a little bit of terror.
Micah nodded mutely. "Say it." Jasper said softly.
"Vampires." Micah let of a small whimper, his eyes wide, his body tense and looking like he was ready to run at a moments notice.
