Their Mate

Chapter Thirty.

Micah held onto the girls as the trio stepped out of the blacked out limo one by one, ignoring the gobsmacked faces of those surrounding them.

"I still can't believe Alice gave you a limo." Jessica gushed in Micah's ear as she clutched his arm.

"Well, more like rented." He corrected, "I hope." He mumbled under his breath.

"Come on, let's go I want to dance!" Angela called as she began pulling them through the door after getting their photo taken.

The hall was crowded, students filling up every inch of the room as loud music blasted through the sub speakers that sat on the stage.

"Would now be a good time to tell her I can't dance." Micah whispered to Jess. Jessica broke out into a fit of giggles causing Micah to pout adorably, "Stop it." He whined.

"You'll be fine." She reassured once she had caught her breath. Micah nodded, not 100% convinced.

Straighten his back, Micah let go of Jessica's hand and held it out to Angela, "Would you like a dance?" Asked in the same terrible accent he tried earlier.

"Oh it would be my pleasure," said Angela as she copied him. The pair laughed as they walked out into the crowd of people and began dancing.

Angela snorted into her hand before turning into full belly laughter, "What is that?"

Micah rolled his eyes fondly, "I know, I know. Laugh it up."

"You too stiff." She told him, "Dancing is about letting loose. Feeling the music in your bones and letting it take over."

Micah nodded as he took a deep breath trying not to over think something as simple as dancing.

"That's it!" Angela cheered, "Your getting it now!"

Micah laughed as the pair let loose, doing all sorts of funky dances that had them both in stitches.

Micah couldn't help but bask in the feeling, it felt nice to let loose.

The Cullens had just walked in, smiles on their faces as even from outside they could hear they're Mates laughter.

However, it was at times like these that Jasper and Emmett hated school because they couldn't show how much Micah meant to them until they where at home. They didn't like that, they wanted to be able to show it all the time.

Edward, since he was Micah's boyfriend in the public eye, walked over and cleared his throat catching the attention of the two teens.

"Edward!" Micah gasped out in shock, "I didn't know you was going to be here!" The small teen pulled Edward in for a hug, planting a quick peck on his lips.

"Surprise." Edward smiled dazzlingly at his Mate, "I thought I would surprise you."

"Well consider me surprised." Micah chuckled.

Edward turned to Angela, "Do you mind if I steal him for a moment?"

Angela shook her head, "Not at all." Edward smiled at her in thanks and begun leading Micah towards the small gazebo that sat outside, "I want him home by midnight!" She yelled after them.

Micah chuckled as the glass door shut behind them, cutting off all sound from the inside. With his hand linked with Edward's, Micah followed him up the small steps and into the gazebo where the pair wrapped their arms around each other.

"I didn't think you'd actually come." Micah said softly as the pair swayed side to side.

Edward smiled, "This is your first Prom. You didn't honk we'd miss it did you?"

Micah shook his head, leaning forward and resting it on Edward's chest as he moved his hands down to his waist.

"Carlisle wants a dance after though, since he can't come to a school dance."

"I think I can do that." Micah smiled, shifting so he could look up at Edward, who was already looking down at him.

Edward leaned down, closing the gap between them and planting him cold lips of Micah's soft warm ones. Edward kissed Micah like a man starved of oxygen and Micah was the only supply.

A kiss that had Micah pulling him closer as he fisted the lapels of Edward's suit, and moaning softly into his mouth.

The kiss ended much to soon for Micah and Edward's taste but alas, Micah needed to breath. He was human after all, and neither had any plans of changing that any time soon.

Micah wanted to experience some things as a human and live his life as Micah as he could before he was turned and the Cullens wanted him to have the best human life possible before they tore it all away.

What the pair failed to notice as they danced the night away, Micah taking turns with the other two Cullens that had joined, was the tall sandy blonde male watching the four as he made little notes in his pad, ready to report back to the most important person in his entire world.
