I think she's playing hard to get.. But I feel like that's one of her charms.", he snapped out of his thoughts with a proud face and suddenly turning into a cheeky smile which revealed his sharp canines and asserted,

Your idea worked!", he wrapped his hands around me immediately enclosing me into a hug.
It was a hug out of happiness as he hopped a little along with my body in his embrace out of excitement and then said, "Thank you soooo much y/n... I could happily take a bullet for you."
Taken aback by what he himself said, I could sense that he folded his tongue in the mouth and stuck it near his lower lip on the inside which looked funny to me.
Realizing he said too much, we were about to break the eye contact when I cut him off bursting into laughter with my eyes closed thinking about how pure and innocent and adorable and lovely he is.
"Ahhh Yuyuuu you're so cute", I finally stopped laughing to witness his embarrassed teethy smile looking right at me.
"But I'll hanker her more I guess..

The lunch break brought a worried Jerry towards me, who confronted me, saying with a frown on her face, "I think I know why you were trying to run away so quickly that day".
My eyes widened at her statement thinking how could she sense my jealousy which I didn't even clarify to myself.
"W .. What?", I asked.
"Yunho and Mina were announced the Prom King and Queen... You must've felt bad since he's your boyfriend, but... You know... Mina fits his league.", she hesitantly said trying not to hurt my feelings.
Little did she know i was slowly getting immune to the hurt.
In the middle of our dying conversation, Yunho suddenly appeared out of nowhere and grabbed my hand as he smiled at me as if he was about to make me fly again.
"Time up... I need my girl now", his words made my eyes wider.. I could feel my pupils dilate.
"Ahh Yunho yaa..", She said, "I'm talking to her"
"By the way... Are you fine now?
I have been literally so worried about you y/n", she said.
Yunho looked at her and then at me with wide, curious eyes, slowly turning soft, making me tremble in anxiety about the fact that now I'll have to explain to Yunho about my absence.
We then, left the classroom and went towards the field area.

"Yeah yeah I know", I cut him off with a relatively cold tone which made him stop looking at me.
I wonder if that came out as rude.. But I literally don't wanna listen to that story again.
To my surprise, he slowly touched my hands as he took both of my hands in his while softly looking up with an unflinching gaze at my eyes..while I struggled to look everywhere but his eyes.
"Y/n... Listen carefully what I'm about to say"
"I know I'm the one who's always telling you about me.. And using you like an emotion bag where I pour my heart out..
I know you never spoke to me about your feelings.. In fact it's like, there's a part of you, I don't even know.

"Best friend", I repeated his words feeling the warmth behind his words.
His words were sincere, I could feel it... And if it were someone else, someone genuinely in love with me... I would have kissed them right there.
But these words...somehow...sound empty.
Nevertheless, it's a big step to even initiate such conversations, so I smiled a big smile at him.
Honestly, seeing his cute face, makes me free of all my worries.
So I decided to make him feel better by accepting his offer and go for a hug.
Warmm... So warm and safe... His big arms closed me in a spongy cave and I could feel his heart beat which were definitely relatively slower than mine.
"With that said... Prepare for a parttyy", He jumped as he broke the hug.
"Party??", I asked.
"Yesss it's Mina's birthday tomorrow", he said which made me chuckle at our stupid little bond.
Heheh, I wonder what's in store for us.

Yunho was there with Mina and Jerry taking their thousandth selfie for the night.
Not gonna lie, Mina was all over Yunho.. Like one couldn't daresay that they broke up like a week ago.
Yes I am being jealous and you can see that.
But more than jealous, I'm glad he's receiving the happiness he deserves.
Smiling at his cute duck faces and him, almost laying on the upper borderline of the couch to be visible in the picture frame.. I enjoyed the show from afar.
He's beyond cute and none can deny that... But this cute guy occasionally looking at me, giving random smiles and throwing finger hearts, was wayy to much for my heart to handle.
At our eye contacts, I couldn't help but blush-smile at his gestures.. But as he looked away, reality slapped hard at my face making me realize none of it was actually for me.
Once he gets the girl... We all know it's over for the "girl bestie".
But what if the girl bestie catches feelings for the boy?? Then obviously she has to give up for the sake of his happiness even if it's with another woman.
Hahhh harsh reality slaps.
