15. The wrath of my hurt

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐎𝐕
It was so loud. The mass of footsteps sprinting towards us, the screaming, the crying. Smoke clouding the lungs of everyone around. It was horrific. Whether it was Alan or not, if this explosion was on purpose, someone was gonna get a beating. I don't usually like violence but I've been bottling up my anger for a while now.

"I sure hope everyone's ok" I mumbled

"Me too" shirou responded

I forget how good his hearing really is.

We reached the base of the building to see no one around

"Everyone made it away from the building it seems, now for inside"

I nodded my head in agreement.

Turning into our beastman forms we ran into the building and scanned around. Shirou had already started trying to track anyone in the building.

"There's two people near the top floor. One of them is...him."

"That monster, I knew it was him!"

"He's got someone captive. I bet it's bait to lure us in"

"Or course he'd do something that like that. We need to rescue them before the fire from the explosion gets worse."

"Agreed"

3𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧
Running up the endless flights of stairs, swerving past flames and lingering ash, the wolf charged towards the enemy, followed by the fox.

Faint laughter echoed through the smoky corridors, growing louder and louder until they reached the source.

"SYLVASTA!!" Shirou bellowed as they reached the room.

"Well, well, well, you're finally here! Hello Ginrou! Hello foxy..."

(Y/n) bared their teeth in anger, growling with frustration.

"My my, no need for that. I'll let the hostage go now"

Alan let go of the hostage's wrists from behind their back and let them escape down the blazing staircase.

"She should make it out the building fine. I'm just glad that I have you both in my playpen now"

"What, so we're just your toys now?" The fox yelled.

"Why yes indeed! Though you're more of my puppet shall we say"

Shirou stood in front of (y/n), not showing even an ounce of fear.
