"...I kinda....can't remember..."

"Huh"

He turned to look at me with pure confusion

"I don't think I understand. Forget why you have so many different personalities?"

"Well...it's not just that."

I stopped walking

Shirou stopped too and turned around

"You knew I was lying when I was explaining where I used to live the other day didn't you"

"...yes"

"It's not that I wanted to lie I just...can't...remember..."

(Silence)

"But...you said you remembered me, even though I don't know if we have met before."

"..."

"How much do you remember?"

"I remember sleeping in the mountainous area on my way to anima city. I'd walk for a while and then id sleep at night. That's how I got into anima city"

"I see..."

Shirou started walking again so I did the same too

" I don't even remember packing my bag, I just knew why I packed the stuff that I did"

"What is everything you CAN remember?"

"Well...I remember that on the mountains and then the festival, saving the girl, meeting you and you know the rest."

"Sylvasta"

"Yeah and that too."

"What do you mean by that. Did you remember hearing someone say that in your dream?"

"Yes and I remember seeing the logo too"

Why would they remember that. What was so significant that in their nightmare they saw and heard THAT.

"Did sylvasta do anything to you to make it be in your night terror thing"

"I don't even know what Alan looks like"

I looked them dead in the eye

"How did you know HIS name"

"...oh gosh..."

(Silence)

After some walking we arrived

"It's just here"

We turned inside of the town hall where there were multiple queues of people.

"Ok well see you later Shirou!"

"I'm not going anywhere"

Why would he stay? Didnt he need to go the mayors office?

"I thought you needed to go t-"

"I'll go afterwards"

He seriously had a thing for interrupting what people were gonna say.

"Well I'll go with you then!"

He looked at me strangely, as if I had no idea what I was getting myself into

"If you really want to" he said crossing his arms "But if the mayor says you can't listen in then don't. I'll trust you won't eavesdrop if that happens."
