The Warriors Ball

Alice's POV

After Loki and Thor explained to me that nebula and gamora hated thanos and wanted him dead and all the rest of their... family history? I felt confident in knowing we would find out.

Currently Nat Wanda and I are in my room getting ready for the ball that celebrates Asgard's warriors. They really do celebrate everything in February. Nat refused to wear anything that wasn't black so we got her a black silk gown that had a slight puff and a small train where as Wanda was loving everything she chose a traditional red Asgardian dress with a breast plate on it. She looks bad ass.

Loki's POV

Once I was ready in my armour I decided against wearing my helmet.

~knock knock knock~

And In walks Thor.

'Couldn't have waiting for a 'come in' ?' I asked looking at my brother

'They're here'

I looked at him. You could practically cut the tension with Volstaggs axe.

We walked, more speed walked, to the ballroom where they were. When we walked in the stuck out immediately given their outfits, and the fact they had that raccoon person thing with them.

'Thor, Loki' quill said giving us a nod. I hate him.

'Ahhh, old friend' Thor said wrapping his arm around his shoulder to give him a half hug

I simple blinked at him as a way of me acknowledging his existence.

'You called us here for a reason, what is it?' Gamora asked looking at me

'Alice stark' I said and as soon as I did she gasped and looked at her sister

'So, you know her?' Thor asked then walking to my side

'He imprisoned her' nebula said

'We will speak of this later, in private. For now let's enjoy the celebration' Thor said

Gamora gave me a look. A look I could only describe as that she was trying to ask why I would ask.

~Around 30 minutes later~

Thor's POV

We introduced the avengers to the guardians and well... it went sort of okay... ish. Quill and Tony are just not ment to friends I guess. We all stood by the bar when we realised Natasha, Wanda and Alice still wasn't here.

'They are girls they are probably fussing about what shoes to wear' Pietro said

'Can't be it, everything was set out for them' Steve said in his 'oh so serious' voice

'Can I just butt in here' quill said then standing into the circle we were in. 'Who exactly is Alice. You asked Gamora and nebula and they know but who is she'

'She would be my daughter' Tony said then coming into the circle.

I noticed Loki's stare at quill. He had his 'if only I had my dagger right now' look.

We all stood and talked then when we he heard the doors open.

'Holy shit' quill said

It was the girls. They walked in with their arms linked. Clearly they already started drinking but they looked amazing. Alice was wearing a gorgeous royal blue dress with a cape that attacked to the shoulders. It was plain and simple but it suited her so well.

'She's hot' quill said nodding towards Alice.

He's dead.

'That's a daughter!' Tony said turning around to him

Loki eyes nearly popped out of his head

'How did you manage that' he laughed clearly trying to defuse the tension But it didn't work for him at all

Loki walked to face him

'Speak of her like that again and it'll be the last words you ever speak' he spoke so lowly I almost felt bad for quill.

'Heys guys' Alice said walking along with Natasha and Wanda

When she noticed everyone was uptight she looked extremely confused

'Ummm. What did we miss?' She asked then looking at Natasha and Wanda

'So, you must be Loki's girlfriend' quill said

'Uhh yeah?'

'Peter quill. You probably know me as star lord' he said with his smug smile

Alice ofcourse looked at Loki trying not to laugh

'Um yeah I have no idea who you are. Anywaysss dad, have you seen the garden yet?'

She's good at changing the subject I'll give her that.

'No not yet'

'Great. Loki, care to join?'

'No that's quite alright, you two need time to yourself anyways'

She smiled and walked away then with Tony to give him a tour of the gardens.

'I suggest you stay away from her. Now go get me Gamora and nebula before I slit your throat' Loki said then turning around to look at him

He stood there in utter shock that Loki would say that but thank Odin Gamora showed up with the baby tree before anything else was said

'She here isn't she?' She asked looking at us

'Guys I'm not gonna lie I'm slightly confused' Pietro said

'Yeah us as well' Natasha said aiming at her and Wanda

'We don't have time to explain right now but we can later. Thor will you take Gamora to the private library and I'll get nebula then after Alice is done I'll bring her'

I nodded 'come Gamora, bring the tree, he's my second favourite after the rabbit'

'NOT A RABBIT!' the rabbit shouted from a distance

Loki's POV

'Nebula, would you come with me now there's a change in plan' I said walking up to her and rocket

'Let me guess. Quill was being quill and now your annoyed and just want the information so he can leave as soon as possible?'

I smiled and lead her to the library. Once in there she sat beside Gamora and the tree.

'I'll go get her, Thor would you explain everything from the start to them'

'That might take a while brother'

'Finding Alice in that garden will take a while'

'How far back are we talking?' Clearly uncomfortable about talking about the battle in New York

'How about when Alice got here a few weeks ago'

He nodded and began.
