Alice's POV

We stood slightly in shock at the sight of Loki. We didn't expect him to be there.

'I'm waiting' he said tapping his foot on the floor

'Ah... you see...umm-Thor has something to tell you' I said then quickly making my way towards the bed before a cold arm snaked it's way around my waist pulling me back and holding me against the body attached to it.

'You' he said resting his chin on the top of my head 'you are staying right here'. He had both his arms snaked around hugging me in place

Thor closed the door and leaned against it.

'Well' he chuckled 'funny story you see'

'Yeah. Super funny story' I chuckled back

'Do enlighten me then' Loki said

We went quiet.

Loki coughed signalling for one of us to hurry up.

'We went to see Adrian' I spat out faster than I knew I could even speak

He immediately let go of me clearly not expecting to hear that and turned me around to look at me. 'What?!'

Thor then came up and stood beside me but Loki's gaze didn't leave me.

'What did he say then' he asked with venom in his tone

'Umm well ahah' I looked at Thor only to have him nudge me with his elbow and give me a smile for me to continue so he doesn't have to get in the firing line. 'Basically like a summary of what he said was that thanos was going to use me as a personal protector and that he's after the infinity stones and... he, being thanos, is lazy.' I said once again quite quickly

Loki closed his eyes and smacked his lips together so they a 'plup' sound.

'Okay anything else?'

'When he finds out I have my powers back he's going to look for me...' I said looking at the ground

'He also has one of the infinity stone' Thor finally said

Loki let go of my arms and put a hand up to his mouth, slightly squeezing it

'Alright then' he spoke calmly

Thor and I looked at eachother knowing Loki was NOT calm.

'Alice, dear I think you should go to our room and get ready for bed' he said only again in a calm voice

I looked at him and simply nodded and left knowing if I refused I would have just got teleported there anyways.

'WHAT WERE YOU THINKING YOU IMBECILE!' I heard from the distance

Loki's POV

I was furious. Utterly furious.

I turned and looked at Thor no longer hiding my anger

'Loki look just listen-'

'WHAT WERE YOU THINKING YOU IMBECILE!' I roared at him

'She had questions'

'You KNEW I didn't want her going down there'

'You can't keep her hidden from aspects that effect her life Loki' he argued back

'I'm protecting her!'

'From what? You are hiding the truth of her life from her AND DONT FOR ONE MINUTE THINK I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO TONY AND PETER' he then roared back
