Early arrival

Alice's POV

We all sat in the royal board room. Odin and frigga both sat at the head of the table then with Thor at Odin side then Loki and i by Frigga. Everyone else was just scattered around the table and some standing.

'So what's the news?' Loki asked

'We've heard that thanos knows' Odin started off. My heart sank. 'He has plans to come here in three days time but we will be prepared. He's not only coming here for Alice but also the space stone. Both will be under the up most protection'

'What does that mean for me?' I built up to courage to ask.

Odin knew how much it took for me to ask the question. He looked at me and give me a small smile. 'I'm afraid it means you are going to be room bond for the up seeing future' his eyes then fell into a sadness knowing that was not what u wanted

'I can help though. I have my powers, I can fight him'

'You need protected' Loki said

'I can protect myself. We all know when he gets here it's not going to be all sunshine and flowers. He is going to kill people and that's going to be all on me.' I argued back

'Alice darling. Our guards are prepared for the sacrifice. You need not worry for them they are strong. It's best if we keep you in your room, well Thor informed me you've been staying in Loki's room so you could stay there instead' frigga said giving me a sad smile

I looked at Thor with wide eyes and he had his lips pressed together into a thin line and his eyes wide keeping a gaze at the floor

'I'm sorry, you've been staying in Loki's room?' My dad asked

'Are we really going to focus on where I've been sleeping instead of thanos right now' I asked changing the subject

'He will come trying to make a deal. We have heard of how he does things, he will come ask ask for what he is looking for and in exchange no bloodshed will be had but if we refuse he will kill half of Asgard' Odin then said

Everyone gasped

'No' I whispered. Loki took hold of my hand in the table and give it a squeeze

'We can't let that happen' Thor said 'the people. They have done nothing they shouldn't be part of this. We can't give him Alice either'

The room then filled with conversation while I stared at the table with water in my eyes. I knew exactly what I had to do. But I don't know if I have the strength to do it.

~two days later~

I sat in Loki's room completely bored out of my mind. There were two guards at the balcony and then four guards at the outside of the door and every 30 minutes they came in and checked on me. I mean it would be fine to have some company but everyone's been busy and to top things off Loki is refusing to tell me anything about what's going on.

I was laying on the bed looking at the ceiling when all of a sudden I heard a rumble sound outside. I looked out the window and seen a huge ship fly into Asgard. My heart sunk in realisation of knowing it was him. He came early.

I ran to the door only to have the guards push me back in.

Loki's POV

That purple bastard came early. We were all in the board room going over the plan for tomorrow when the guards came in and told us. We all ran to the throne room where we stood awaiting on him.

He walked in with some of his guards behind him.

'Ah, I see we have the whole team here then' he said walking up

'I'm afraid we have sent away what you are looking for thanos' Odin said up on his throne

'I'm not to fond of lies' he sneered

The room fell silent. I looked over at Thor who was also looking at me. We knew what we had to do. We all did but we couldn't we needed to stick to the plan.

'So are you going to get me what belongs to me then?' Be asked

'And what would that be thanos?' Odin answered

He looked at every single one of us and smirked 'Alice stark'

'Okay you purple headed ball sac but MY daughter doesn't belong to you' Tony then said out of rage

'Ahh Toney stark. I've always admired you' he said

'You will not be getting Alice. We have sent her away' Odin said giving Tony the que to shut up and let him do the talking

'Well I suggest you tell me where you have sent her off to before I do what I usually do here Odin. I'm willing to make a trade with you. You give me her and the teseract and I won't kill half your people' he basically growled at him

'I'm afraid I can't allow either of those things to happen'

Thanos then clapped his hands together once and an army of his men swarmed in. It's safe to say we didn't expect this. They came and lines up behind him.

'Need I ask again?'

Alice's POV

'LET ME OUT. THEY NEED MY HELP!' I shouted at the guards who were trying to hold me back to stay in the room.

I used my powers to get vines to wrap around them and when they were locked in place I immediately sprinted to the throne room as I could hear the sounds of people fighting.

I ran in and what I saw what completely unexpected. Loki and Thor both fighting thanos and everyone else fighting his guards, given it was only around 30 of his guards but still a huge difference.

I stood there in shock. Then I seen thanos get a hit at Loki and knock him into a wall

'NOOOOO' I screamed and used my powers to push all of thanos guards away from the avengers locking them in a makeshift cell i magicked up out of thick ice.

Thanos turned in shock and looked at me. 'You've improved' he said.

'Don't hurt anyone because of me'

'Alice!' Loki roared at me

'I see you have all lied to me then' thanos said then turning to look at Odin.

I took advantage of his back being turned and fired ice daggers on his back which did no good only made him turn around but I got a ball of fire and threw it at his face which seemed to only hurt him for a second.

He started to walk towards me and that was when I knew I had no chance of defeating him
