Lexi's pov

He shot me, right in the heart, I let out a loud, painful scream and everything went black....

**beep beep beep**

I woke up to tonnes of people surrounding me, mainly doctors hooking me up to cords, running tests and lots of talking, there he was, Cameron, sitting in the chair with his head in his hands, crying.

I tried talking but nobody listened, I tried screaming but nobody heard, I then listened to the doctors and I found out i'm in a coma. I felt my heart shatter, what if I can't wake up?

**few hours later**

Cameron is still here, all the boys and girls have visited and left me heaps of stuff like cards, balloons and stuffed toys.

I tried so hard to wake up but it was no use, I laid there lifeless, I could hear and see everything around me though and it was horrible not to be able to do anything.

"Hey Lexi, please, please come back, I have never felt like this in my whole entire life" by now Cameron is crying again "I never could've thought one girl could mean so much to me, from the day I met you in the store I instantly saw a future with you, I definitely don't regret bumping into you, when you came over to my house I knew exactly who you were and that you were my new neighbor, I planned to look like that just so you would fall in love with me like I fell in love with you, you were my dream girl, I never thought that you would be mine, I truly am the luckiest guy alive, I understand if you let go but please don't, please come back" he put his hand in mine and put his head down on the bed, that's when I felt a million butterflies in my stomach and slowly I woke up.

Cameron's pov

I need her in my life, she completes me, she makes life worth living for, I put my hand in hers and laid my head down on the bed, I felt her hand slightly squeeze mine making me jump "Lexi!" I almost screamed from excitement, she slowly opened her eyes and a whole weight was lifted off of my shoulders, I called out for the nurse as Lexi laid there confused, soon doctors and nurses came running in asking a million questions a second. But all that I cared about is that she was okay.
