The whole day went by and I didn't learn anything because I can't learn when I have hundred things to worry about. The School day was over and I walked home. "Hey , you alright. You didn't talk very much today" Jason says walking besides me. "Yeah, everything is alright" I answered trying to smile. I was on my way home. The trees were giving me shadows as I was walking.

"You sure, you look worried" he says while reaching out for my hand. I looked down at our looked hands. "Maybe I am worried. I just finished my chocolate bar yesterday and now I don't have any chocolate anymore" I said. His thumb was drawing circles on my hand, he was being gentle. "You chocolate crazy girl" he said. Then his phone rang. "Yo, I need to go and catch up with the boys. I have practice, See you tomorrow?" He said while turning the other way. His warm hand left my cold ones and the heat left too. "Sure, bye" I said while waving. Just make one thing clear, I don't have feelings for Jason.

He is like a brother to me and I am his sister. That's how our friendship was. And I ship him with Sophia. The sun was still on the blue sky. People were cycling, eating ice cream enjoying their life. I got a message from Sop, "hey girl it's a party today at Drews place, meet me at my house at 8". "Who is Drew?" I wrote back. "Dumbass, he is one of the football players" Sop wrote back. Drew is on the football team? Honestly I don't know who is on the football team.

We have Connor, Tyler and Jason, I don't remember the others. "Meh, I don't know" "I am expecting you at my place at 8, and I won't take no as a answer" I chuckled at the text, but I never liked going to parties. It wasn't my type of thing, but I needed to get my mind on something else. The last party I went to, was 4 years ago. Yes four years, I am not a party person. So should I go? You know what fuck it, I am going to go.

People were coming and going, to jobs. It was rush hour. I went through the messy crowd. The trees leaving me and the sun started to dig in my skin. Would dad let me go to the party? I have this guilt feeling of this whole going to the party thing. My dad lost his job, so did I, we have a house rent we need to pay and I want to go to a party? But it felt like a temporary solution to my problems, the party could get my mind off things. The sun was still shining on me, making me all glittery. I was in front of my door, when our neighbor walked out with her dog. Mrs. Sellifa was a old woman in her sixties.

You know in movies, where your old lady neighbor is nice, brings food, tells you story about her youth and her dog likes you , and she helps you out with your problems? Yeah, well Mrs. Sellifa was the opposite of all of this. I don't even know why she hates us, me and my dad. One day when I was in my way to school, she told me to get my stuff and get out of this country, because I had long black hair, toned skin and brown eyes. Apparently white enough and she said that I will never fit in. Mrs. Sellifa never liked us, she was really critical about us and she will jump to conclusions about anything, rather than hear the truth.

One day she called the police and told them that we were threatening her and all the other neighbors because we didn't get out of our house in four days. I never understood how staying inside of our own house was threatening, and neither did the police. The police came to us, asking us if we were okay. We told them that I had influenza and so did my dad, that's why we didn't leave our house. The police gave Mrs. Sellifa a warning, they told her that if she calls the police again when there isn't a problem, there would be consequences. After that day she never talked to us but she surely gave me bitch stares.

She was on her way to the cemetery, she was going to visit her husband. I knew that Mrs. Stellifa was mean to us and all that stuff, but she looked so sad everyday. She was holding roses with one hand and with the other, Stella her dog. Her dog wasn't a big fan of people. She barked at everyone that's one of the reasons why Mrs. Stellifa never left her house. She gave me a cold look and she was walking towards me. The flowers she was holding fell in front of me. I kneeled down and took up the flowers and took the hair tie form my hand wrist and tied up her flowers like a small bouquet. I looked at up at Mrs.Stellifa, a little smile was folding up at the ends of her lips, but it disappeared as fast as it came. Her blue eyes were shining. "Thank you"she whispered with a sweet voice and walked past me, down to the buss station. Did Mrs.Stellifa smile? Was she nice to me? Wait a second... is this a dream?

I looked at her, she was waiting for the bus, the sun was setting behind her. I started to fish up my keys from my bag and went inside my House. Dad was sitting on the grey couch, reading a newspaper. "Dad did you eat something, while I was in school?" I asked while taking off my sneakers. "Well hello to you too grandma" he said laughing. I went to him and gave him a big hug. Sometimes I just wonder that, if my birth never happened, would things been better for my parents?
