"Omg why is our lunch break so short" Alexis whined like a child.
The whole squad sat together in the cafeteria eating our food, well I was eating food and the others were chatting.
"Stop whining! I am trying to get the best out of each difficult situation I am in" Taylor said, his both hands looked in with each other.
"Namaste my friends," he said with his eyes closed.
Jason looked at him with a confused face and then threw some chips at his face.
"Ouch! Wait why am I tasting salt? And paprika? Did god finally listen to my prays and started to pour chips flavored rain down at me?" Taylor opened his eyes and started to smile.
"No dumbass. Jason threw some chips on your face. Look down at your white shirt, it's red because of the paprika"Alexis said laughing.
"Aw, man! This was my favorite shirt." Taylor said, he started to rub it off with his hands but made it worse.
Alexis sighed and took out some wet wipes and started to take off the red marks on his white shirt. Taylor looked at her surprised. He was enjoying this. "Who needed pills?" Sophia asked. She was sitting beside Jason.
"I need it," both Alexis and Taylor said.
" I have them," Sophia said. I stopped eating and looked over at her with wide-open eyes. "You have what!?" Jason asked. Conner took my sandwich out from my hands and took a big bite.
"Hey, don't eat Rose's food!" I said while slapping his hands away.
"That's not fair, you get to eat my lunch every day. And you use my money to buy yourself chocolate" he said laughing.
"Well I give you back your money," I said while taking out the tomato's out from my sandwich. Who can like tomatoes? Yuck! Connor had a confused look on his face.
"You know random money you find in your left pocket all the time? Yeah, that's Rose who has been putting the money there" Sophia said giggling.
"Wait, what?" Connor said.
"Wait for a second you have pills but you never told me?" Taylor said.
"This girl has pills and she never told me?! I need those" Alexis screamed, and the whole cafeteria looked at our table. "Ehh...She means candy pills, right Alexis?" Jason said to Alexis with a worried face.
"Yeah, yeah candy pills." She said and sat down. Her acting skills were terrible, but the students didn't pay much attention to us.
"Well enough about pills, and drugs. I need to tell you guys something." I said. My sandwich was in my stomach, and the tomatoes were on my white plastic plate. I looked up at my friends. They got their full attention on me.
"Yeah? What is it?" Jason asked. He looked over at Sop and she gave him a confused look.
"You guys know me and my dad's situation. Our situation isn't going so where good. It's stressing both me and my dad" I said. Connor came closer to me. I looked up at Sophia, she gave me a warm smile.
"My dad got a job offer from an old friend. The job is a traveling job, so my dad is going to travel 6- 8 months without me" my throat felt so dry suddenly. I don't know why but this whole situation felt uncomfortable, in fact, the room we were sitting in felt uncomfortable. The tension in the room was cocking me and I wanted to run home and spend time with my dad.
I took a sip of water from my water bottle.
"But where are you going to stay?" Tyler asked, with worry in his eyes. "Let me talk, and then ask questions," I said calmly.
