After changing, I head downstairs to see my grandmother putting on her shoes. She looks at me and smiles. I smile back and say "Ready to see the girls?" She laughs and says "Always!" We laugh and start walking across the street to Amelie's house since that's where we are having dinner. After about a minute, we walk into the house to be greeted with an amazing smell and the sound of my friends laughing while the grandmothers are talking. We walk into the kitchen and I say "NANNA! GRAMMY!"
I don't know why and I don't know how this even started but we call Avani's grandmother Grammy and Amelie's grandmother Nanny and we call my grandmother Grams. We have been calling them this since we where children and no one till this day knows how we came up with the names, it's quite funny actually. Both of the grandmothers turn around and smile as they see me and Grams. I rush over to them and attack them with a big hug. I haven't seen them in a while either and it sucked cause I love being around them. We pull away from the hug and Grammy says "Lets eat cause Amelie and Avani where complaining about being hungry for the past 15 minutes!" We all laugh and Avani says "Well you cooking in front of us and not letting us eat anything until dinner! What did you expect?" We all laugh again and take a seat at the table set for 6.
We all catch up over dinner and towards the end of dinner, the grandmothers start having their own conversation so, I turn to Avani and Amelie who are beside me. I say "I got something fun for us to do tonight!" They both smirk and we all let out a chuckle. Amelie says "Let me guess, a party?" I laugh and nod my head. "What else?" We all laugh and continue to eat. Dinner soon finished and we help clean up the dishes. After that, all the grandmothers sit on the couch because they are 'tired' and the three of us stand in front of them.
I say "Ok so, Grams, Nanna and Grammy, we have something to ask you...." Nanna sighs and says "Yes, you can go to the party!" I smile and Avani says "Just going to let us go like that? No questions or anything?" I glare at her basically telling her to shut up before they change their minds but in her defence, she was probably wondering herself. The three grandmothers laugh at Avani's comment and I grab Amelie and Avani's hands, As I drag them out of the house, I yell back "Thank you! We will be back around 2!" They shoe us off with a bunch of "Ok"s and "You better be"s. My friends laugh at my intensity to get out of the house. Once we get out the front door, I look at Avani with wide eyes.
I hit her on the back of the head earning a slight 'Ow' and say "You fucking idiot! You almost turned down a free party with no questions asked! Have I taught you nothing!" We all laugh and head over to my house to get ready. We aren't going to dress fancy but we need to get out of out track pants and cropped tops. We walk into my newly decorated room and Avani says "Of course you are the one to get invited to a party the first night we get here!" I laugh and say "Don't hate me cause you wanna be me, hate me cause you know you will never fucking be me!" We all laugh at my obvious joke.
Amelie says "K but seriously, how the fuck did you even find out about this party?" I start throwing clothes at my friends that will look good on them and say "I don't know, I have my ways I guess you could say!" Avani says "I swear to god! If you don't fucking tell us I will actually kill you!" I laugh and say "Chill with the threats Vani! I met someone!" Some how, they caught on to what I was saying. They look at me, hungry for more information and I sprint to my bathroom that is attached to my room, laughing as I do so. U can hear the girls chasing after me and I lock the door so they can't get in. I change into this while they continue to try to unlock the door:

Avani and Amelie start knocking on the door like fucking crazy people and I shout while laughing "CAN YOU HOLD THE FUCK ON! I'M CHANGING!" Avani scoffs and says "I don't give a shit! It's not like we have never seen you naked before so get your fucking ass over here!" I laugh and unlock the door. I start brushing through my hair while my friends stare at me with wide eyes. I laugh and say "What?" Amelie says "Who the fuck is the person?" I laugh and say "A boyyy!" They smile and Avani says "Scale of 1-10, how hot?" I laugh and say "Oh defiantly an 11!"
She gasps and says "He's hotter than Damon Salvatore?" I nod my head and say "He's HOT!" She laughs and we finish getting ready. As Amelie applies a thin layer of mascara, she says "How did you meet mystery man?" I laugh and say "I was playing guitar on the beach and he was running by. We talked for a minute and he invited me to the party that started 10 minutes ago! Hurry the fuck up Vani! How long does it take to put on fucking eye liner!" She laugh and walks out of my bathroom looking hot. Same with Amelie. I look at my friends and smirk. I say "First party of the summer!" We all laugh and Amelie says "Lets just hope it's half as good as the ragers Nai throws back home!" We all laugh and I say "Impossible babe!"
