I wake up the next morning to tossing and turning beside me. I groan into the pillow and try to ignore Amelie moving next to me. As she is moving, she kicks me in the shin making me yell out of pain. I throw a pillow at her face making her groan at the unexpected contact of my soft, feathery pillow. I say "Can you shut the fuck up and stop fucking moving asshole?" She chuckles lightly and says "Forgot you are not a morning person!" Definitely NOT a morning person. Then, I hear a muffled "Both of you shut the fuck up! My head is fucking pounding and I can't sleep with your bitch asses talking!"
I groan and sit up annoyed by all of the noise in my room. I say "Both of you two shut your fucking mouths before I slap you!" Avani screams into her pillow dramatically and then throws it at me from the floor, where she is sleeping cause I can't be bothered to sleep with that mother fucking kicker. I throw it back at her and say "Both of you get over you little fucking hang overs! You didn't even drink that much that much when I left, how much could you guys could have possibly downed in a fucking half hour?" Amelie sits up with me and Avani and rubs her eyes, Avani doing the same as I stare at both of them with annoyance. Amelie says "Trust me Nai, a lot happened after you left with fucking lover boy."
I laugh lightly at the nickname and say "Tell me A, please." She jokingly rolls her eyes at the cockiness in my voice of not believing she was able to get black out drunk. Amelie says "If I remember correctly, we where dancing with 2 boys named Anthony and Blake," I nod remembering that part "After you left with your guy or what ever the fuck he is, me and Vani started shot gunning and taking A LOT of shots while the guys stayed a respectable amount of sober to keep us safe." I laugh at her, Amelie and her baby parties. I say "Thats it?"
Amelie nods and I say "How much did you even fucking drink?" Avani yawns and says "11 vodka shots, 8 beers and 6 white claws, thats only after you left us asshole!" My jaw drops. For Avani this didn't shock me too much cause we both partied a lot but Amelie didn't party as hard cause she wanted to make sure we would all be safe. I mean yeah, she partied but she never got full on black out drunk. I look at Amelie and say "I've taught you how to party and I could never be prouder!" We all laugh and Amelie says "Thanks Nai, but I need something for my fucking pounding head ache, please, please, please!" I smirk having an idea and throw each of my friends a pair of clean track pants while I put on this:

As we finish changing, Avani says "What the fuck are we doing now?" I laugh and say "Well if we are going to be partying this summer, we need to find a good hang over diner!" They both laugh but don't turn down my idea. When the three of us are together, we party hard and I mean HARD. Even Amelie but she just wouldn't drink as much so she has never experienced a really bad hangover. We would always go to this diner at home called 'Tim's Diner' and when we went to Avani's, we would just go to dunkin or something cause we rarely went to Avani's.
After we change, we grab our things and walk downstairs. We tell Grams that we are going out for breakfast and Uber to the town square where all the shops and shit are. We start walking around the town and some across and small building. It has a sign that reads 'Sunrise Diner'. I look at my friends and smile. I say "I think we found the place!" We all laugh as I open the glass door that is rimmed with a silver metal. We walk in and take a seat at one of the many booths they have in the restaurant. It is a really cute 90s themed diner, I'm really digging the vibe of this place.
We look at the menu and place our orders with the kind waitress named Joan. She was in her about late 50s and was SUPER sweet. We are definitely coming back here. After a little small talk with my friends, Joan brings our food out. We thank her and she walks off with a smile. As I cut into my chocolate-chip pancake, Avani says "So whats up with you and lover boy?" I laugh at the nickname and say "His name is Jaden and trust me, he is NOT a lover boy. He's to hot to be anything other than one of the many guys to break my heart!" We all laugh and I say "Sooo, we have to be home in an hour because I'm meeting up with him at three!"
We all laugh again and Amelie says "Going to take your chances?" I shrug my shoulders, laughing and say "Yeah, whats the worst that could happen?" She stares at me like i'm a fucking idiot and says in an obvious tone "You will get heartbroken is the worst that will happen dumbass! You just fucking said it!" We all laugh and I shrug my shoulders again. I say "So what? It's happened before and i'm sure I can take it again!" They nod while laughing at me, thinking i'm an absolute dumbass and Avani says "Ok, but if you know it's just a summer fling, don't get to attached!" I nod as I chew my food and say "I know, I know. Now, whats up with you two and those guys?"
