The next day, I wake up and check the time. 7:30 in the morning. I didn't sleep much last night because Amelie and Charli's words still linger in my head. I decide to go for a run because I haven't been very active lately. I change into a pair of mid-thigh biker shorts and a crop top. I text Amelie where I'm going so if I'm not back by the time they wake up, they will know where I went no eat a granola bar and chug some water. I use the bathroom then go for a 45 minute run, having to use google maps a couple times to get back home. 

Once I got home, it was around 8:30 in the morning. Amelie should be up because of her modelling gig. When I walk in, I see Amelie scrolling on her phone eating a fruit bowl. We say our good mornings and I make myself some avocado toast. I then decide to shower to get the seat stench off me before I go to the studio. After my shower, I end up falling asleep until around 2:25, being waken up by a knock on the door. I quickly pull off my sweat pants and grab a pair of jeans. I run down the stairs, tripping over my feet a couple times. I open the door to see a surprised Jaden as he watched me put on my pants in front of him. Whatever, it's nothing he hasn't seen before.

I say as I slide on my AF1s "You know, you don't have to watch?" He raises his eyebrows and says "You know, you could answer the door once your fully dressed?" I playfully glare at him before grabbing my keys and running to the car, Jaden following swiftly behind me. Once we get in the car, I back out of the driveway. After a very, very awkward drive, we finally arrived at the studio. Hope and Rayna will be with us today. I think they are going to sign Jaden but I'm not sure. As we get out of the car, I silently sigh and watch as Jaden puts his hands over his face, probably to try to get off some of the awkwardness. 

We walk in and I talk to the lady behind the counter whose name I learnt is Lilian. Me and Jaden just sat there, the only distance between us being a chair. Other than that joke we had earlier feeling like olds times, we haven't said another word to each other. I just don't know what to feel right now. I know I kinda like Nick, he's a good guy but I don't know how I feel about Jaden which is really bad since i'm in a relationship at the moment. I exhale as Jaden says "So..." Thankfully, Rayna and Hope walk out right at that moment. I head Jaden mutter "Thank fucking god." I roll my eyes and go off with Hope while Jaden and Rayna go into her office.

Hope says "Alright, how are you today?" I sigh and sag "After that long awkward drive him, not so sure." She chuckles as I began to tune the guitar she handed me. She says "What's the deal with you two?" I sigh again and say "Complicated exes." She scrunches up her face while I laugh. She says "Ouch, and now your going to be writing together." I nod and we both laugh. She says "Alright, so first we are going to start with just you and the guitar and then we'll add tracks from there. After that's all done, we record your final vocals and add some finishing touches and your all good!" 

I smile and nod as I slip into the recording booth. I sit on one of the stools in the room and begin to play. "Mr. Perfect face, Mr. Here to stay..." After 15 minutes of recording, I see walk in and sit on the couch, just I find to hear the chorus. After we got a good track we could build on, I saw Hope clap for me while I smile at been I notice Jaden with a slight frown on his face while he gulps back what he was going to say and says quietly "Good song." I nod and smile. I bet even Hope could feel the tension. Then, my phone starts vibrating. I check it to see if it's important. It's Nick. 

Nick. I didn't talk to him at all yesterday or this morning. My fave drops and Jaden says "You good Nai?" I nod and say "I got to take this! I'll be back in a minute!" They both nod, Hope with a smile and Jaden with his eyebrows furrowed. I walk out into the hallway of the building and out my phone to my ear. I say "Nick?" He says "Hey, haven't heard from you since I saw you yesterday, you ok?" I say "Yeah, when I got home I was really tired, sorry. I'm actually in the studio right now, so I'll talk to you later, yeah?" He sighs into the phone and I roll my eyes. He says "Is this what it's going to be like now?" I say "Excuse me?" 

He says "Are you going to pretend like I don't exist and only go to the studio now? Are you even going to have time for me anymore?" I make a disgusted look on my face at his words and then I hear Jaden say behind me "Hey, are you ok?" I nod and say "I'll be there in a minute." Jaden nods and waits for me at the end of the hall. Nick says "Who was that?" I sign say "Jaden. We're writing together." He scoffs into the phone and says "Seriously! With your ex boyfriend! That's who your with!" I shake my head and angrily say into the phone "You know what? Call me when you fucking grow up and know what you want to do with your life instead of posing for a camera all day!"
