After we eat, we take an uber back home and Avani and Amelie go to their houses to 'sleep' but I know they are just going to scroll on tiktok the whole day. I change into a pair of jean shorts and a baby blue crop top. I check the time after I finish brushing through my hair and doing light make up. 3:10. I go  onto my balcony and climb down the infamous latter. As I start walking towards the water, there he is. Sitting in the sand, looking out at the water. I laugh and shake my head as I start running towards him.

I plop down beside him, grabbing his attention and say "Hey bestie!" He laughs and says "Hey- Hold on, we hung out all night yesterday and I still don't know your name?" I laugh and stand up, rubbing the sand off my shorts as I do so. I shrug and say "What can I say? I like being a mystery!" He laughs and stands up as well. I say "So, what are our plans for today?" He smiles and says "Well, your new here so I was thinking I show you around a bit?" I smile and say "Sounds perfect! Lets go!" He laughs and I grab his wrist, dragging him up the beach.

We get to the sidewalk and I let go of his wrist. Then, a thought pops into my mind. I say "Oh! Can we get ice cream? I have been craving it so much but I don't know any good places!" He laughs and says "I know the best place!" I smile and we continue walking down the street. As we wait for the stop sign to cross the street, Jaden looks at me and laughs. I laugh and feel my cheeks heat up a little bit. I say "What?" He shakes his head, continuing to chuckle and says "Nothing." I gibe him a playful nudge and say "Come on!" He laughs again and says "It's just, you don't have social media do you?" 

I laugh nervously and say "Uh, I do yeah." He gives me a confused look and I blurt out nervously for some reason "Ok, so i'm kinda tiktok and instagram famous. I think some people identify me as an influencer?" He laughs and says "Actually? How many followers?" I look down and fidget with the rings on my fingers. I say "Um, 15 million on tiktok and 1 million on instagram." He laughs and I look down again, his laugh is cute. He says "The only reason I ask is because i'm kinda famous too." He nudges his shoulder to mine softly and I look up confused. I say "What? Really?" He laughs and nods his head. He says "I'm kinda one of the most popular tiktokers right now, that's why I didn't think you had tiktok."

I say "Oh my fucking god! I feel so stupid now! I don't really scroll through my social media's anymore, I just post! You probably think I am so weird for not recognizing you!" He laughs and I hide my face in my hands out of embarrassment. He says "I think it's cute!" I look up to see him smiling down on me since he is like 6 inches taller than me. I laugh and playfully nudge him again as we start to cross the street. I say "Shut up! You thought I was weird!" He laughs and says "No!" I stare him down with my eyebrows raised and he laughs more. He says "Ok so a little weird but mostly cute!" I shake my head and say "Just take me to the fucking ice cream please!" 

He laughs and we continue to walk around while making small talk. We walk around  the town square where all the shops are but he doesn't do much showing around. He practically drags me across all of the shops to get to the ice cream place, I laugh as he does so. He then stops and stands in front of a building with a sign on it that reads, 'Happy Days'. It has a a big smiley face as it's logo and i'm assuming it is a ice cream shop as it also has a big some of ice cream next to the smiley face.  The shop is small but it it really cute, just like the diner me and my friends went to this morning. I look over at Jaden to see him smiling, looking straight into the tiny shop.

I say "Are we going to get ice cream or are we just going to stand here all day?" He laughs and says "Alright, come on." He opens the door for me and I thank him as I walk into the cute, tiny shop. Right away, the air conditioning hits my skin and it's a refreshing feeling from the hot summer sun outside. We walk up to the counter and each of us order our ice cream. Jaden pays even though I try to fight for the bill or to at least pay for half of mine but the asshole wont budge. We walk outside and sit at the water fountain they have in the middle of the town square. Jaden says "This is the best ice cream you'll ever get in this tiny town!" I laugh and take a spoonful of the ice cream in my mouth, shockingly it's really good. "Yeah," I chuckle "It is really fucking good!" He laughs and nods his head as the words came out of my mouth before I could stop them.

Then, Jaden says "So, I think since this is the second time we have hung out that you might just like me a little bit. So, can I have your name and number?" I laugh and nod my head. I say "My name is Nailea but everyone calls me Nai including you cause I feel like i'm about to be in trouble when people call me Nailea and if you give me your phone, I'll put my number in it." He laughs and hands me his phone while says "That's a pretty name but I think Nai Hossler sounds better!" I laugh and shove him playfully. I say "Your so fucking cringy Jaden!" We both laugh and continue to eat our ice cream. After another hour of just walking around, we head back home. We step onto my street and I say "Bye Jaden, should I expect a text from you soon?" He laughs and says "Bye Nai and yes, you should."
