Nailea sat at her desk in her room in her nice tan cropped sweater that she had just changed into five minutes ago. She waited to get a facetime from the person that was supposed to be interviewing her and after about a minute, the interviewer called. Nailea answer and they talked for 5 minutes before actually starting the interview.
Sarah (The interviewer) says "Hello guys and welcome back to genius lyrics! Today I have a very special guest with me, Nailea Violet!" Nailea smiles and waves into the camera while saying "Hi guys! Thank you for having me!" Sarah smiles and says "No problem, so this week you are going to be dropping you first ever single called 'Sad songs in the summer', correct?" Nailea smiles and says "Correct!" Sarah says "Alright then! We have a copy of the official lyrics and we are going to be asking you the meaning behind each word, is that alright with you?" Nailea laughs and says "Yep! Lets get started!" Sarah laughs and picks up her notes.
Sarah reads her notes and then says "Alright, so the first couple of lines in the song are 'Sad songs in the summer, heart break through the stereo, find ways to recover, but it's hard tryna let you go', do you mind explaining these lines for us?" Nailea smiles and says "No, not at all! Ok so the meaning behind these lyrics are- well sad songs in the summer is pretty self explainable but it's summer time and I wrote a sad song!" Nailea laughs causing Sarah to laugh as well. Nailea continues "Um, heart break through the stereo is I just recently broke up with a guy who is going to stay anonymous but um, I am still going through the break up and shit- oh shit- I mean um, sorry! Can I swear on here?" Nailea and Sarah laugh and Sarah says "It's fine, you can say what ever you want!" Nailea nods and says "Ok well heart break through the stereo is just like well- he was really into music as well and is an amazing musician so when I hear music and stuff it hurts and breaks my heart a little more, you know?" Sarah smiles and says "Totally." Nailea laughs at how stupid she thinks she sounds and continues "Well um find ways to recover is just, it's weird to explain," Nailea laughs again and says "But um it means that there are many way s to recover and shit and everybody has a different ways to recover but mine is though music and then but it's hard tryna let you go is it's really hard to let somebody go when you don't want to and I really don't want to let him go!" Sarah nods and says "Alright."
Sarah reads her notes once again and says "Ok, so the next lines are 'Sad songs in the summer, the suns out but I sit at home, hold on to a lover, because it's hard tryna let you go, go, go' what are the meaning behind these lyrics?" Nailea slightly smiles and says "Well, the meaning behind these lyric's are a lot!" Nailea laughs to try not to cry and says "Ok, so sad songs in the summer, yeah, yeah, yeah, we get it! Um, but then the suns out and I sit at home part is basically what it means but a little more into it is like all my friends are outside and at the beach and stuff and I'm either in the studio or in my room, writing, I wasn't going out with my friends and shit!" Nailea laughs and so does Sarah. Nailea continues "Ok so then hold on to a lover is because like, how do I put this? Um-I see so many couples walking down the street and stuff when I walk to the studio and stuff and that makes me wish I didn't break up with this dude and it makes me wish I still had him with me because I want him to hold my hand while we walk down the street and all that shit!" Nailea laughs even though she can feel her eyes weld up with tears at the thought of Jaden but she's tries not to show the tears. Nailea then says "And then the let them go part is the same, I don't want to let him go but I probably should!" Both of the girls laugh and it makes Nailea feel a little bit better.
