"you actually did it"

Still at the park mark heard foot steps. He turned around and he saw ellie. "Mark? Is that you?" Ellie could barely tell because of how swollen marks face has been. Mark just sat there and hid his face not wanting to seem weak. "Hey um i know its you mark, you dont have to hide your face" ellie said as she just sat next to mark without a word coming out after. "You know you dont have to tell me whats going on, but ill sit with you if you want" In marks head these words were very reassuring and made him feel safe, but no words came out of his mouth, he just couldnt form a sentence. "Um you seem uncomfortable ill leave you alone for now" ellie said letting a small chuckle hoping to lighten up the mood. Until she felt a firm grip on her wrists and it was mark, he pulled her down and made her sit next to him. Ellie was in shock but still sat down with him.

Few minutes passed in silence and mark finally decided to speak up. "T-thanks for sitting here" voice still weak from screaming at his father. Ellie just looked at him and no words came out she tapped marks shoulder, causing him to look up at ellie just to recieve a tight hug making him gasp. "U-h what is this for", "shut up and just take the hug" ellie said in a firm but soft voice. Mark sighed and just sat there not knowing if he should hug back, until ellie backed up alittle bit and put marks arms out and went back in for the hug.

After a few moments of hugging ellie backed up and giggled, mark felt butterflies around his stomach making him shiver. "Okay mark, because were at the park when we were originally supposed to meet here at 5, lets go to the beach" ellie said. Mark just nodded his head and they started walking to the beach. They walked in silence just hearing their own breathing and footsteps. Mark soon broke the silence by saying "thank you.." after a pause ellie grabbed marks hand and gave it a squeeze. Mark started to blush all around and ellie noticed and looked at him and said "is someone embarrassed?" laughing her absolute ass off she let go of mark's hand and sat on the shore. Mark just stood there looking at ellie and ellie tapped the sand next to her signaling mark so sit with her. He does as she says and sat next to ellie. They just sat there looking at the waves accidentally getting to close here and there. Watching the sun set was one of the best things mark could watch and ellie made it even better. He felt warmth reach his shoulder and when he turned to look he saw ellie laying on his shoulder asleep. Giving a small chuckle he sat back and let her sleep, watching the sun set by himself with a sleeping ellie on his shoulder. Ellie was a deep sleeper as mark could tell by the way she was swaying forward not even noticing that she was about to fall. Mark on the other hand did notice and held her head from falling forward but soon his hand started to cramp up so he pulled himself to ellie, grabbing her waist he pulled her in and sat her inbetween his legs having her lay down on his chest. Being hesitant to keep her steady because he didnt know if she would like it, but he didnt want her falling off of him so he wrapped his arms around her waist. Placing his hands on her stomach feeling every breath of air she took, mark felt like as if he was falling of a cliff in paradise.
