I wiped my eyes dry as I'd literally cried so much reading his letter, I knew it too, I loved him, I was in love with him and I needed him to know that.

I paced around the room re reading the letter an smiling at every single thing written on the page, until the door opened and Alex came in holding two teas. He placed them onto the bedside table and looked at me.

"Holy fuck..Cami baby what's wrong" he rushed over to me and placed his hands on my cheeks, worry and concern leaked through his facial expression but I huffed a laugh and smiled at him with glassy eyes.

"Did you mean it?" I croaked out.

"Mean what darlin?" Alex said furrowing his eyebrows.

"What you said on the letter" I said quietly.

"Every last word" he said smiling at me.

I closed my eyes and pressed our foreheads together.

"I love you too Alex." I said through a big smile.

Christmas came and went and we spent Boxing Day with Alex's parents and we went out on a snow walk and then went to a coffee shop nearby. I missed his parents and their good vibes the minute we stepped on the plane.

Alex's mum and dad lectured him about treating me like a princess and always making sure he treated me how I deserved.

We arrived in Santa Monica airport around midday on the 28th of December, my Brother Calvin was already there and was waiting at the airport for us as he was our ride.

"Get here you bitch" Calvin exclaimed when he saw me, I threw myself into his arms and we swayed side to side. He pulled back from me and moved to Alex pulling him into a tight hug and then kissing his cheek.

"Our dads gonna love you, don't worry about it" Calvin said as we sat in his car and were driving to my Dads place.

I sat next to Alex in the back and squeezed his hand to reassure him, I think Alex was mainly nervous because my dad has just come out of being a raging alcoholic but their conversations on the phone flowed easily and Alex always liked talking to him.

"Look at you! You look older than before" my dad said as he pulled me into an embrace.

"Well it's been 5 months dad!" I said smiling as he pulled back from me.

"Alexander..Get here mate" my dad said patting Alex's shoulder then pulling him into a tight hug smacking his back slightly.

"Oh! This is Josie and Josie this is my daughter Camille and her boyfriend Alex" my dad said as he stepped to the side and a beautiful woman with long layered brown hair stepped out smiling at us.

"Hi it's lovely to meet you" I said as she brought me into a brief hug then briefly hugged Alex.

"You're father talks about you loads and how much he missed you." She said beaming at me.

Josie was around the same age as my dad but she looked pretty young, she was fairly slim and slender and had a really warm smile and kind eyes, I liked her a lot.

Alex and I had settled into the spare bedroom as Calvin was in the other spare bedroom, he'd got here before Christmas and was gonna leave with us after New Years.
