(part two!)
Fifteen receives a email on her phone. "What's this about?"she thought as she scrolls to her messages. She sees a text from Seventeen and reads it in her head.
*after reading the text*
Fifteen puts her phone on her desktop and sighs. "I knew he would say no.."she thought as she flops onto her bed. Suddenly, she hears something from her window. She gets up and looks outside to see Seventeen.
"Hey! Can you come down here?"Seventeen yells loud enough for her to hear. "Okay!"she yells back. She walks downstairs and goes outside. "So, what did you wanna talk about?"she asks. "Did you get my message?"he asks while nervously scratching his neck.
Fifteen nods and looks down. "Sorry..I just don't think I'm ready to be in a relationship now.."he says while hugging her. "Then why did you give me that letter last night?"she says while pushing him away.
"I...I don't know why I gave you that letter.."he admits shyly. Fifteen looked mad and a bit confused. "I guess I had my expectations too high.."Fifteen mumbles before walking away. Seventeen walks away too.
*later that evening*
Fifteen decides to take a walk in the forest and catch some fresh air. "I wonder what I'll see out here.."she thought as she continues to walk around. She spots something in the trees, but it quickly dashes away. "What the h*ll was that?!"she thought.
She heads in the direction of the thing. She spots it go into a bush. "Hello? Whatever you are,I mean no harm."she says holding her hand out. The thing comes out of the bush and smiles at her. "Sorry! I just thought that you were-wait...Fifteen?!"said the girl.
Fifteen looked shocked. "Twenty-one?!"she replied back in shock as well. They hugged and rambled for a bit. "It's been years! How is the step squad?"asks Twenty-one. "I mean..nothing interesting happens,and when it does,it's either Eight or another dealing with it."she replies.
"But,how did you get to Numberland? Don't you live miles away from here?"she then asks. "I built my own house here so I didn't have to walk/drive all that way."Twenty-one replies. Fifteen sighs. "Why do you look so sad?"Twenty-one asks.
"I asked Seventeen if he wanted to be together...he rejected me. I set my expectations too high."replies Fifteen with a sad tone of voice. Twenty-one comes to hug her. "It's okay. You'll find love one day!"she says.
*later that night*
"So,this is your friend?"asks Three to Fifteen. Fifteen nods. "Hi! Nice to meet you!"says Twenty-one. "Hello."replies Three. Everyone is having a good time chatting and eating. "Wait,where is Zero?"asks One suddenly.
The entire table goes silent. "Who's Zero?"asks Twenty-one. "She's about my height,her hair is long in the front,she has no arms or legs."says One. "I think I saw her in the forest.."says Twenty-one. "Why would she be there?"asks Seventeen. Everyone shrugs.
They all decide to group up and find her. Unfortunately,Fifteen was paired with Seventeen. This made it awkward for them. "What's wrong you two?"asks Twelve. "Oh,it's nothing."said Fifteen. Twelve looked at them,then flies off.
"Can we still be friends?"asks Seventeen. Fifteen nods. "But only friends."she then says. Seventeen nods and smiles slightly. Fifteen drags him along.
