Hinata was packing up his things and looked up to the person standing at his desk. "Your still coming over tonight, right?" Kageyama Tobio asked, holding a milk carton in his hand.

"Of course I'm coming. If you have recordings of the national games from last year, I want to see them too! We need to know what we will be up against!" the ginger smiled, picking up his bag. "Let's go!"

He followed Kageyama all the way back to his house, where he was surprised to see meat buns on the table. The two ate and then sat in the living room. "My sister isn't home tonight, so your welcome to stay over" the setter offered while pulling up the recordings.

Hinata immediately blushed. Staying the night with Kageyama? Could this mean- No, he wouldn't feel the same. Staying the night doesn't mean....

"Oi Hinata, did you hear me? I asked if you wanted to stay over tonight? Are you okay? You don't have a fever or anything, do you?"

"N-n-no! I-I mean, yes! I mean, yes, I'll s-stay the night but I'm fine!" Hinata hid his face with his hands, but his blush had spread to his ears that were now as bright as my hair.

Kageyama gave him a look of doubt, but brushed it aside. He sits on the couch next to Hinata, passing him some snacks, and they watch the videos. Kageyama commented here and there about what they could learn to fight back, how to improve, and which forms of counter attacks would work best in each situation. Hinata tried to pitch in with his ideas here and there but mainly he was really focused on how close his own setter was.

They were only about an inch from each other, and Kageyama's arm was resting on the back of the sofa, behind Hinata, who couldn't stop how red he was.

After they finished the first set of videos, Kageyama turns off the TV. "It's getting late. We should probably get ready for bed." He leads the tomato-red tangerine up to his room, not bothering to turn on any lights until they reached his door.

He immediately goes to his closet and gets a pair of drawstring sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt. He tosses them to Hinata before returning to his closet. "Those should fit you alright. If not, let me know. I can try and find something smaller."

Hinata runs to the bathroom with the clothes and quickly changes. The scent of his crushes clothing on his own body made him feel at ease. He washed his face and returned to Kageyama's room.

"Hey. Where do you keep the spare futons? I can get one myself" says Hinata as he nears the doorway.

When he reaches it, Kageyama waved him to come in. "I have a big enough bed. I don't mind sharing."

Hinata just looked back at him, blush growing on his face again. He just nods and walks towards the bed. Kageyama turned off the light and lifted the blanket for Hinata to crawl into the covers. The small boy crawls in and lays at the very edge, careful not to get too close to the setter. Though it took him awhile, he eventually fell asleep.

When Hinata awoke, he felt a weight on his chest. He opened his eyes and noticed Kageyama was cuddled up on his chest. He tried to go back to sleep to ignore the confrontation of Kageyama waking up on top of him. He was at least able to close his eyes and pretend to sleep by time the taller had stirred.

He felt Kageyama lift his head up and sit up. "He's still asleep? Why does he have to be so cute." He gave a small peck on Hinata's forehead before Hinata could hear him leave, closing the door behind him.

Hinata blushed greatly. What had just happened? What did it mean? What happens next? Hinata didn't know, but he was thankful for the moment and in that moment, he prayed to Asahi that it would not be the last!
