Chapter 8

The day of the training camp had arrived. Hinata was auper excited to see Kenma. The moment he got off the bus seeing Kenma waiting next to Kuroo, he ran straight towards him!

"Kenma!!! Hi!!!" He yelled as he chaged forward and hugged him.

"O-oh, hey Shoyo. You seem energetic as always."

"Chibi-chan, how was the trip?" Kuroo chimed in.

It wasn't long before the boys were ready to start playing. After they finished warming up, Hinata and Kageyama started to work on their quick attack. The practice matches wouldn't start until after lunch, but they could do whatever they wanted to before then.

The captains and setters duos from Nekoma and Fukurodani soon joined in. Most people were getting settled in, but Hinata, Kageyama, Kenma, Kuroo, Bokuto, and Akaashi were all ready for some action. They took turns spiking and receiving the other players spikes.

At lunch, the 6 were part of the last few to reach the cafeteria for lunch. Kageyama and Hinata grabbed their food and then returned to the court to warm up with their team.

The afternoon was filled with a fairly even match. They had enough time to play two sets with each team, ending in a even score by that night, Karasuno being stronger then expected, but that was probably due to their first year duo.

"Hinata, want to go for a jog with me?" Kageyama asked as they finished they finished dinner. They were sitting at the same table as their team, though the others were savoring their food a little slower.

"Owv courff!" Hinata exclaimed, nodding and quickly finishing the rest of his food before jumping up and following his boyfriend outside.

They jogged along the outside of the school campus, so they wouldn't get lost but had some distance from the other teams. As much as they were open in front of their team, they weren't as close around the other players.

They stopped at a bench on the other side of the school and sat down. The weather was nice, even after dark, so they decided to enjoy each others company for a moment.

Sitting down, Kageyama held out his arm, offering for Hinata to snuggle into his side. They stayed there for a moment until he felt a finger raise his chin.

Familiar with this, Hinata closed his eyes and let the setters lips reach his, sharing a kiss for a moment. It lasted a few seconds, but was full of passion.

When they pulled away, Hinata frowned. "Just one? Baka Kageyama, baka!" he cried, knowing it would only be a matter until he felt their lips meet again.

Their peaceful moment was disturbed when they heard a voice. "Your captain sent us to look for you. He said you should get to bed, but asked for help finding you when you weren't in the gym." Kenma said, not even looking up from his Nintendo. Embarrassed, the two follow him back without a word.

Kenma walks them to your room. "It's about time you listened to my advice, Shoyo," he whispered before walking to his own room, his comment not even being noticed by Kageyama.

The two entered the room, and Hinata was thankful that with the nights off and others sleeping, the blush on his face wasn't noticeable. The boys pushed their futons as close as they could and fell asleep cuddle. They awoke the next morning to the sound of ooh's and aww's but they ignored them, because they were happy.

The rest of the week went by following the same pattern, but they loved it simply for that reason. By time they left, the scores were slightly towards the Karasuno side, and the whole team was tired.

When they got back, the boys stopped by Hinata's house to drop off his things and get a clean change of clothes before going to Kageyama's place. No one else was home, so the two ordered a pizza and enjoyed a movie with lots of kisses and cuddles.

After the movie ended, Hinata got up. Kageyama had fallen asleep, so he covered him in a blanket and went to Kageyama's room, putting on a pair of sweatpants and one of his boyfriends hoodies, which he may or may not plan to take home later.

He returned and noticed him still sleeping so Hinata crawled back into his boyfriend's arms, falling asleep to the sound of Kageyama's heartbeat.
