Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama have known each other for a long while. Hinata knew he had feelings, but will his setter feel the same?

Time went by, and eventually the duos performance in game improved heavily. They could sync together quicker in any setting, and Hinata got faster. His spikes seemed unstoppable to many opponents, so many had a hard time playing against them.
Kageyama's sets were more precise too, and he didn't have as much of a temper when asked to correct something. Instead, especially with Hinata, he would do his best to help his team.
Both boys of course, were still competitive. They still like to race to the gym a few times each week, and Ukai normally had to yell at them to hurry up and go home before eating his shop out of all the meat buns. Their practicing has improved Hinata's serves to a point where he can at least manage one in the slightest, and he could tell where to be standing to receive, though his face still would get in the way.
Tsukishima eventually became more accepting of their relationship, and all was peaceful Karasuno. Many of the guys went to them for advice, trying the find their own sexualitys and figure out how to take a step in the right direction, though Hinata just seemed to be able to give better advice then his boyfriend.
The girls often liked to "doll Hinata up", dressing him in cute outfits before he would see Kageyama, whose reactions were priceless, so it was worth it to Hinata. It meant more cuddles, kisses and hugs, which he couldn't be happier about.
Years went by, and the duo were soon going into college. Hinata would be joining MSBY in Osaka, but Kageyama was going to join the Schweiden Adlers in Tokyo. They would be divided by more then a 6 hour drive, and they weren't sure if they could handle it.
A text came in on Hinata's phone, and he immediately picked it up with a smile.

Hey, by chance can you meet up tomorrow? I know we both leave in two days, but I want to see you one last time
Yeah, I'm fully packed already so I should be able to go What did you have in mind?
Well, I was hoping I could pick you up after lunch We could go see a movie, get some dinner, and then head to the park to see the sunset one last time?
That sounds perfect! Just let me know when you are on your way so I can be ready <3

Hinata was excited, but he knew all his nice clothes were already packed, though he figured Kageyama's were too, so dressing casual should be okay, right?
He found a nice pair of jeans and a t-shirt, putting them aside with a hoodie he stole from his tall boyfriend. He got up early the next morning, taking a quick jog. He lived pretty far from him, so he knew Kageyama wouldn't take the same path, though he knew he was probably doing the same thing right now.
When he got home, he quickly showered. He ate breakfast with his sister before she went to school and he offered to clean up after to help his mother.
The rest of the morning, he mainly spent just getting ready. He didn't have anything else to really do, so he just listened to music while waiting for Kageyama's text.
He ate a sandwich for lunch, and got the text that his boyfriend was almost there just as he finished putting his things away. He hurried said goodbye to his mother before walking outside and seeing his boyfriend walking his bike up the hill. He put his bike on the ground on the side of the road, and held out his arms to Hinata, who immediately took off running happily.

Hinata jumped into his arms, though Kageyama didn't have too much trouble catching his fast tangerine with a hug, as this was a common event with him. They both smiled, happy to be together again, even though they saw each other all the time.

I have lost a lot of inspiration for this story already, so I will probably only have one more chapter. Thank you to everyone who has already enjoyed the story so far!
There are so many characters in haikyuu that I love, that I feel I don't always appreciate our baby crows enough. When people mentioned that they wanted to see some Kagehina content, I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I'm proud of this one and I hope you liked it!
