Chapter 23

Hinata POV

On December 19th at 5:22 pm. Our baby was born. With a head full of black hair that sticks up in curls like mine. They moved me to a room after we got cleaned up, and I sadly had to be stitched. For skin to skin contact they stripped me of my shirt, and lay him on my chest. We used a small hospital baby blanket for privacy as the pup also had nothing on.

"He's beautiful Sho." Tobio said to me laying in the bed next to me. He's a very small pup. Weighing five pounds seven ounces and only eighteen inches long. We have decided to name him Akihiko Kageyama, or Aki for short. I wanted him to have Tobios last name too!

"Hmmmm he looks like you." He has Tobios hair color. Along with his lips that have a small little pout or frown on them that is the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

"Well he has your cute little nose and curly hair. He hasn't opened his eyes yet so we don't know how they'll look yet. He also moves around a lot." I giggle at him. It's true though. He is a literal wiggle worm. He's on my chest right now, and he's wriggling a little bit or squirming around.

He also makes little grunting or huffing noises like Tobio. He will also make little cooing baby noises that make me gush over him even more!

"Hehe he has your little frown Tobio!" He just smiles down at the little ball of fluff on my chest. Then we hear a knock at the door and the nurse comes in.

"It's time for you to switch! So if you could Kageyama-kun, take off your shirt to lay him on your chest. Also he is very healthy so he probably won't have to go to the NICU. We have diapers for you along with a onesie!" We thank her and she leaves the room. Tobio hasn't held him yet so I'm excited to see his reaction. I take my phone out secretly as he takes off his shirt.

"Here you go. Be careful he likes to wiggle a lot." He giggles taking him carefully then laying him on his chest. The pup automatically starts calming down making me scream internally at the cute moment. I start taking a video without him knowing.

"Hey there Aki. Well aren't you just adorable!" I giggle at his cuteness. Tobio then starts tearing up. He's never had a good father figure so he wants to be the best dad he can. He kisses his hair then tried to discreetly wipe his tears. I stop the video sending it to the group chat telling them when he was born, height, weight, and his name.

"I love you Tobio." He turns to me smiling. I could look at that beautiful smile forever!

"I love you too Shoyou." The nurse comes in asking how we're doing, and if I'm bleeding or sore. Sadly I am bleeding and extremely sore! I start getting the pup dressed putting him in a diaper with a blue onesie with stars.

"He is too cute!" I say as I hold Aki who is wrapped in a soft white blanket. Tobio wraps an arm around me yawning then kissing my forehead. We are exhausted! We've been without sleep for a while. I mean I just have birth to Aki about forty five minutes ago!

"Thank you." I look at Tobio in confusion not understanding.

"What do you mean?" He smiles kissing me sweetly. He releases happy pheromones making me snuggle into him still holding Aki in my arms.

"For carrying our pup for nine months. For giving birth to him. For giving him life!" I start tearing up at those words. My hormones are all over the place!

"Your welcome Tobio. I love you so much. Thank you for being with me. Your going to be an amazing dad!" I smile at him, and he gets up to take a shower. I already had a shower since I was covered in blood and other things that were pretty gross.

Aki starts cooing at me while wriggling around. He is the perfect mix of Tobio and I. The team is coming over tomorrow and I'm really excited! Tobio comes out of the shower putting his old clothes in our bag to be taken home. He hurriedly comes to sit on the bed like a child when it sees a cool toy.

"You wanna hold him?" Tobio shakes his head and I give Aki to him. Aki starts cooing when Tobio messes with his toes or feet that are in socks so he won't get cold.

"He is too cute. He's so tiny too." Tobio says not taking his eyes off of him. He is very tiny. Aki starts fluttering his eyes a little trying to open them.

"Haha he's trying to open his eyes." I laugh a little as Aki starts wriggling around. He finally flutters his eyes open making me smile. Tobios eye shape so more narrow rather than big, but he has big amber colored irises.

"Hehe he has your eyes Sho." I giggle in delight as he stares right up at Tobio. Tobio puts his pointer finger in front of Aki moving it around a little. Aki reaches for him lightly latching on making Tobio gasp. He then starts to get fussy. Tobio looks at me a little worried.

"Here let me have him." He hands me Aki who is now starting to cry. He must be hungry.

"He's just hungry. Can you lift my shirt up for me." Tobios nods lifting up my shirt. I let Aki attach himself to me, and he happily drinks.

"What time is the team coming tomorrow?" I ask him so I know when to wake up. I will have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed Aki, but I want to get as much sleep as I can!

"Around three is what they said." I nod pulling a small blue blanket over my shoulder and chest while Aki is still drinking to hide my exposure if a nurse walks in. I mean there is no reason to since they are nurses and have seen this stuff before, along with them see me literally birth Aki.

"That should be good." I check underneath the blanket to see Aki has unattached himself from my nipple. I take the blanket off, pull my shirt down, and burp him.

"He's gonna need a diaper change here soon since he's just ate." I said while laying Aki down in my arms since he's burped already.

"Haha he looks milk drunk." Tobio says quietly to not wake up the half sleeping pup in my arms.

"Hehe he really does." I can't stop staring at him either. He's so beautiful! This is probably the best thing I could ever ask for! Tobio turns my head with his fingers underneath my chin to kiss me. It takes me by surprise, but I melt into the sweet loving kiss.

"I love you Sho."

"I love you too Tobio." He takes the pup ushering me to get some sleep and that he will watch Aki. I thank him happily since I am more than just exhausted! I watch as the father of my pup and Aki starts cooing at each other. I couldn't help but smile as I fall right to sleep.
