Chapter 33

Kageyama POV

"Happy birthday Aki!" I say to our now two year old son who decided to climb into our bed at 8:00 in the morning.

"Mommy! Get up. It's my birthday!" Aki says with a big smile and clapping his hands. Sho stretches and sits up with a tired smile.

"Happy birthday baby." He says while grabbing Aki and giving him a sweet, loving kiss on the cheek and forehead. I stand up throwing on a shirt then picking up Aki.

"What do you want for breakfast big boy?" I ask him with a sweet tone. He thinks for a second causing him to put on his little pout, that Sho says he got from me, then he lights up in excitement.

"Pancakes! With chocolate chips. A-and milk." I nod with a smile and sit him in his highchair. Sho comes out all freshened up, and sits down at the table with Aki.

"Are you ready to see everyone? We also got you a cake!" Aki gasps at the sound of cake. He reaches out for the sippy cup I have filled with milk, then starts talking about his cake.

"I have race car cake?" He asks tilting his head to the side. Sho nods and pats his head while walking up to my side where I am making pancakes.

"I never got to tell you a proper good morning." He says wrapping his hands around my waist. He stands on his tiptoes and lightly pecks my lips. He goes to walk away until I pull him back.

"Wait. I want another." I say with an over exaggerated pout. He sighs then kisses me again, this time for longer and sweetly. We pull away when we hear little giggles. We turn around to see Aki giggling at us in his highchair.

"Your a silly boy! Everyone will be here soon so let's hurry up and eat."

*Party timeskip*

"Happy birthday Aki-chan!" Oikawa states happily running up to Aki who has a birthday hat on. Aki runs up to Oikawa joyfully laughing and engulfing him in a big hug.

"Oikawa! What are you doing to my kid?" I ask with a snarl. He only smirks, walking up to me.

"Tobio-chan. When are we serving cake?" He asks me folding his arms across his chest. I just roll my eyes.

"We're serving it now dimwit. Where is Iwaizumi-san?" Oikawa attitude immediately changes at the sound of his boyfriends name. He smiles brightly at me and points to him. He's talking with Daichi and Kuroo.

"Well Tobio-chan I am going to go with my lovely Iwa-chan now! See ya! Thanks for the invite!" He happily skips away and going to annoy someone else. Thankfully, he's not annoying me!

"Okay guys! We're starting to open presents!" Sho yells to everyone. Everybody gathers around in a circle as Aki sits in a chair.

"This is from Daichi and Suga." Sho says handing Aki the present. He happily smiles and open it, revealing race car coloring books and some crayons.

"Thank you!" He yells with a big smile on his face. The duo give him a thumbs up as he continues. His small hands are ripping and tugging at all the wrapping paper, and squeals fill the room with each present.

"Ok Aki. Mommy and I have a special present for you!" He looks at us curiously before nodding. Sho goes and gets a small red box with some holes pocked in it so the present on the inside doesn't suffocate.

"There are holes." Aki states poking his fingers in them, making everyone giggle. He finally opens the present and gasps at the little white and brown animal inside.

"A kitty!" He yells with a big contagious smile. I laugh and lift the small cat out of the box. Everyone awws at the small creature.

"Mommy! A kitty!" He says pointing to it, as if Sho had no idea about it. Sho just giggles and ruffles his crazy hair.

"Yep! Do you like her?" Aki nods happily and pokes the cat. Everyone giggles as he happily picks up the fuzzy kitty and talks to her.

"What are you gonna name her baby?" Sho asks quietly to him. He inspects her a bit before bursting into a fit of giggles as the cat rubs her face onto his.

"Nala. That's her name." He says getting off the chair and playing with the cat. Sho just looks at me and shrugs at the name. I walk up to him and kiss him lightly.

"Not in public. Idiot." He says with a blush spreading across his cheeks.

"Ok ok. Everyone is starting to leave so let's clean up a little. Suga and Daichi are staying to help clean." He nods and runs off to find Aki and Nala. Daichi and Suga help me clean up the house that is scattered with cups, plates, and some wrapping paper.

"You are a great father Kageyama." Suga says to me quietly as we clean up the kitchen, away from everyone in the living room. I smile at him as I feel my heart swell from the compliment.

"T-thanks. It's a lot of work though." I state picking up a plastic cup and tossing it in a bag.

"Ya know. Hinata was talking to me about something." He says avoiding eye contact. I worry as I stop everything I'm doing? What does this mean!? Is something wrong!? Did I do something wrong!?

"He was saying that he loves you so much and that you and Aki are the best things to happen in his life. He says he wants more though." After he says that I start to breath heavy. What is happening? I thought I was doing good? Suga finally looks at me with a huge smile on his face and I am more than confused.

"He wants more because you being his boyfriend isn't enough. He's waiting on you to propose to him. He wants to marry you, Kageyama." As those words leave his mouth, relieved is an understatement. I am bursting with joy though.
