Chapter 31

Hinata POV

"I couldn't do it! I just couldn't!" Yamaguchi cried to me. He wanted to get rid of the pup, but he couldn't. Tsukishima still hasn't came back yet to give an answer.

"It's ok Yams. You can keep it." He nods lifting his head off my shoulder. We were sitting on the couch at my house. Yamaguchi didn't want to be alone so I said he could come over today.

"Yamaguchi! Are you ok?" Aki asks him. Aki hates seeing people cry, and he's getting to where he can smell certain pheromones.

"I'm fine Aki. Thank you for asking." Yamaguchi says patting his head, and giving a sweet sad smile. I hear the door open so I look over to see Tobio walk in.

"I'm home!" Tobio says taking off his work shoes. I excuse myself, and give Tobio a hug and small kiss.

"Yamaguchi is over right now. He doesn't want to be alone right now." Tobio knows the situation since Yamaguchi trusted Tobio. Tobio goes up to Yamaguchi, and gives him a small hug.

"Thank you Kageyama-kun." Tobio nods then goes to play with Aki. Yamaguchis phone rings so he picks it up. His eyes go big when he look at the caller Id. It was Tsukishima.

"E-excuse me I'm gonna take this." I smile then he exits the room. I go into the kitchen to make Tobio some dinner. I look down to find Aki pulling on my pant leg.

"Hey baby. What's wrong?" I ask, picking him up. He looks like he's been crying a little. He puts his head on my shoulder as I continue cooking.

"Aki? Are you ok? Did daddy hurt your feelings?" He shook his head no then goes to explain.

"Y-Yamaguchi was sad. It made me sad." His bottom lip quivers as he explains. I kiss his cheek softly, then call for Tobio.

"It's ok baby. Yamaguchi just isn't having a good day ok? You don't need to be sad! Mommy loves you, and daddy loves you with all our hearts." He smiles then nuzzles into my chest.

"Hey Shoyou is everything ok?" He asks me seeing Aki. I smile and nod explaining to him. Yamaguchi then walks into the room with more tear stains.

"I-I'm gonna go. Tsukki wants to talk." We nod and say our goodbyes. I hug him before he leaves telling him it's ok.

"Remember. You want this pup. If he doesn't, that's on him. Lay down the law or leave the town Yamaguchi. Good luck." I say to him seriously. He thanks me then leaves.

"Mommy! I want more." Aki says as I walk into the kitchen. I smile and give him more food. He happily eats, and attempts to talk about his day.

"Don't talk with your mouth full baby." Tobio says laughing. Aki only swallows, and goes on to talk about cars.

I really hope everything works out with Yamaguchi. I know Tsukishima can't live without him even though he's not a person to talk about emotions. I hope he makes the right choice!

Yamaguchi POV

I arrive at Tsukishimas house and knock on the door. Akiteru answers the door with a smile.

"Hey Yamaguchi-kun! Kei is up in his room. I'm going out for a while so it's just you two. See ya!" He says. I nod then head to Tsukkis room. I knock on his door slightly.

He answers then immediately, pulls me into a hug. I squeeze him as he says he's sorry.

"I'm so sorry Yama. I'm such an idiot. I love you so much. I'm so sorry." His voice cracks a little in the middle. I let go and examine his face. He looks like he hasn't slept, and his eyes are puffy. He pulls me to the bed and we sit.

"S-so I'm keeping it. The pup. I can't get rid of it! I just can't!" I try to say to him sternly. He only smiles and hugs me. I'm a little shocked at this, but I hug him back.

"Good. I didn't want you to get rid of it." He sniffles and let's go. I smile too, then attack him in a big kiss. He kisses me back with a small laugh.

"Yeah the timing isn't the best. But we can make it work. Hinata and Kageyama did it. We can too!" I say to him. He nods, and we go on discussing our plans.

"I have a doctors appointment next week. You can come." He nods and lays down. I lay down with him, cuddling into his side. I sigh closing my eyes, and drift off to sleep.

I'm so glad everything worked out!
