Chapter 2

Hinata POV
High school starts today! I am petrified. I have official presented my secondary gender three days ago. I am an omega. It was not surprise to me or my family. I kind of expected it, but we don't know when my heat is going to strike or how long it will be.

I walk into morning practice ready as ever! I had heard there were other omegas on the team so there was no need to take suppressants to relieve my scent. I leap inside and see something I was not ready for.

Kageyama FREAKING Tobio was right in front of me about to serve the ball!
"What the hell are you doing here!"
I yell at him that obviously startled him to stop what he's doing letting the ball fall in his head.
"Oh my god of course your here dumbass."
He snarls at me as he slowly walks towards me. I can smell his frustrated alpha pheromones lifting their way to my nose. They are strong and very intimidating! He smells like smokey with a hint of blueberry? He probably smells smokey from being irritated.

"Who you calling dumbass! If I would have known you were going to be here I would have enrolled somewhere else."
"Welcome guys! This is the Karasuno volleyball team! I am your coach Sawamura Daichi, but you can just call me Daichi. This is the vice captain Sugawara Kouchi."
Our captain that I just learned the name of told us. You can clearly see two mating marks on their necks, indicating they had mate.
" I am Sugawara but you all can call me Suga. Let's gather around in a circle and introduce ourselves to get to know each other."
He brightly smiles at us and I can't help but smile back. He had a very contagious smile!

We all sit in a circle and go around saying our name, secondary gender, and our positions we played.
"Hi I'm Hinata Shoyou! I'm an omega and a spiker."
I see a lot of confused glances probably because I'm so short. It's ok, I will show them how high I can jump! I get to learn also that Daichi and Suga are mated to each other! Everyone knows it to which I adorable and clear that they accept gay people. What a relief! One less thing to worry about!

Kageyama POV

"Oi dumbass get over here!"
I yell at him to come over so we can start working on receiving with a partner. I didn't know Hinata very well or really at all. It was just better than being with the snarky Tsukishima with his trusty man in hand Yamaguchi. Also better than the two crackheads, one who goes by Tanaka and Nishinoya. I found at that Nishinoya is dating the ace of the team Asahi who seems really intimidating but is actually a softy. The captain and vice captain are mates so they are receiving together. And the others are just doing their own thing so all that's left was Hinata.

*Timeskip after practice*

"Ughh it's so hot! I'm sad practice is over but also happy because it's so hot outside."
Hinata tells me as we are walking to classes. Apparently I have quite a few classes with him. After a few minuets of walking and going into class with him I am hit with a waft of pheromones. I guess nobody really takes suppressants. Hinata stumbles a bit, probably overwhelmed from all the pheromones there are.

Since Hinata is an omega pheromones affect him more than it does alphas, unless an omega were in heat or maybe even close to starting it.
"You alright stupid?"
"I am fine dumbass it was just all the pheromones all over the place!"
He walks away and sits in his seat. I actually sit behind him which is great! I swear high school is going to be one hell of a ride.
