Tyler car pulls up in front of the garage at a quarter to 9.

"Uh oh Dahl," I can hear Luke's voice nagging in my head. "Your boy toy is here."

I smile as I sit in the front seat, "Hey Ty."

"Evening miss," he says in a fake British accent.

"Hey," I greet Nick and Carrie, who are both sitting in the backseat.

"Hey, Dahlia," Carrie smiles genuinely. "Cute shirt."

"Thanks," I pull at it. Tyler puts the car out of park and drives toward the school.

When we get there, Tyler parks and quickly walks around the car to let me out. I thank him and step out of the car. The four of us walk in and find our way to the gym.

"Wow," I smile at the decorations. I also smile when I see Julie and Flynn talking up onstage. "Oh, my sister is up there. I'm going to go wish her luck."

Tyler nods before stepping away from me and finding some other lacrosse boys to talk to. My steps toward the stage are short, and usually derailed by my dancing peers.

"Oof," I huff when I crash into someone. "Sorry."

The girl looks at me and crosses her arms, "Molina, you clutz! You have barely talked to me since the Tyler incident."

I smile at her meekly, "I'm sorry, Lydia. But about that-" I look over at him and wave. "He's here with me."

"With? As in he's your date?" Lydia asks. "Wow, I missed a lot."

"I guess so," I nod.

"So, your sister and her band are performing tonight. How cool is that?" She says.

"Yeah, I was on my way to wish her luck," I point up to the stage, where Flynn and Julie are still conversing.

"Well, I will continue to dance with Maria and Quinn then," Lydia says, waving her hand under her chin. "Love you!"

"Love you too," I laugh, returning the wave. I walk back toward the stage and find the stairs on the side. "Julie!"

"Dahlia!" Julie shrieks, running up to me and wrapping her arms around me. "Have you seen the boys?"

"No," I shake my head. "No, I thought they were here with you when I left."

"Well, they aren't," Julie shakes her head. "I'm kinda freaking out here. I mean, they wouldn't bail right?"

"No, of course not," I say, grabbing her shoulders and steadying her. "They know how important this is to you."

Meanwhile at the Hollywood Ghost Club...

Luke's P.O.V.

"HOTDOGS! CHEESEBURGERS! Eat up boys," I say, grabbing a slice of pizza.

Alex grabs Reggie's wrist as he reaches for a hotdog. "Not again."

I stare at Alex; his expression doesn't change. I nearly choke on my food when I try to hold back a laugh.

Leave it to Alex to be melodramatic.

"It's alright buddy," I smile after I swallow. "We can only die once."

Alex relaxes and let's go of Reggie's wrist. He turns to Willie and I can barely hear their low conversation.

"Hi boys," I hear sweet sounding voices chime from in front of our table. I look up to see the twins from the performance earlier looking down at Reggie and I. Reggie goes with one of them. The other takes me hand and guides me away from the table, I attempt to stay close, however, interested in Willie's and Alex's conversation. The last thing I hear from Willie is, "There's a lot to - uh - like here."

I pull away from the girl and hop onto the chair next to Alex, "Awe."

He quickly spins to look at me, startled.

"You like Willie," I smile.

"What?" Alex makes a face, obviously flustered. "No! No, I - we - frie-"

"Alex," I cut him off out of pity. It hurt to watch him struggle so hard to lie. "I'm happy for you."

He takes a deep breath and smiles before grabbing a cheeseburger and taking a bite. I laugh and shake my head.

"How many newcomers do we have here tonight?" Caleb calls from the front of the club. I throw my hand in the air, along with Alex. A few other hands shoot up, one of which I recognize as Reggie's.

"How about we show you how we do dessert?" He asks. Hoots and cheers come from various areas of the crowd. "I'm thinking something... sweet."

The band starts up again and dancers flood the floor. Out of the corner of my eye I see Willie run back up to Alex, pat his arm, and then take off to the dancefloor. I smile as I watch him dance, it's entertaining. And Alex is obviously impressed.

The twin from earlier walks back over to me and pulls me onto the dance floor. I get pulled back over to Reggie and the four of us start dancing. I'm not very good at it. Im not really used to dancing to jazz, usually I'm just the one hopping around with a guitar onstage.

I see Alex get picked up by two guys and swung over Caleb's head and chuckle. It's about time Alex loosens up.

I'm midturn when I noticed a huge clock on the wall. When I look back at it, it chimes.

12:00.
