Luka walked home with Kagami walking slowly behind him.
"Luka..." She began. He stopped, "I've met someone I like. She plays the piano. She's really grounded and she's got long hair. She's a really sweet person. Come on, you know me and you are too alike." He looked at her and smiled, "You always seemed so uncomfortable around me. Me and you, we should probably be with someone who's completely opposite of us." "Uh... I...." She stuttered. "Come on, it's not like us to get emotional." "Sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
He put his hand on her shoulder and chuckled lightly, "Hey, don't cry. I'm the one breaking up with you, don't apologize. Thank you, Kagami."

Adrien sat next to Kagami who was sitting on a bench outside the school. "You're not gonna ask me anything?" "You'll talk to me when you want to." He said with a smile. "I just got dumped. He was older and didn't go here. So good looking and sweet. He told me he liked me. I got ahead of myself and stubborn. And I got dumped. I..." She looked down as she started to cry as he didn't move an inch. "I ended up hurting him. I'm such an idiot. I had no idea about my own feelings."
I wish I never realized because I wanted things to go on just like this... But... time keeps flowing. Adrien takes one step after the other even if he's unsure. Him and Marinette... inspiring each other, supporting each other, then they try to move on. I'm the only one who can't take the first step. Time doesn't stop, does it? I'm the one frozen in time.
"What's your problem? You're not even gonna comfort me?" Adrien sat up, "Okay then. I'll stay with you. I'll stay by your side." She laughed, "So cruel to be so kind to the girl who just got dumped." "It's not like I'm being nice to you, I'm acting the same as I always do." He said with a smile.
Always by my side whenever I was in pain, whenever I was feeling sad. The boy who's not my kid brother. What a liar. You are leaving me. And it may be too late now, but I don't wanna give up.
"Look at that Kagami, the moon's out." He said looking up. "What do you mean? What's that got to do with anything?" "But it's pretty." I told you don't be nice to me. Don't snuggle against me. Move on! The time I exist in... start flowing.

Adrien walked by the hospital stopping by the street it was on. "You're just going to visit her in the hospital, so what's there to worry about?" He whispers to himself.
I'll go see her another time. The instant there's a little distance between us, it gets harder to see you. Even though I didn't think twice about seeing you in school. Now I'm searching for reasons to see you and not see you.
**
Adrien bought her favorite croissants that she loved to eat. He walked towards her hospital room. Coming and going. I'm always searching for an excuse. He heard Alya and Marinette in her room laughing together. As he left the hospital. What am I thinking? Bringing croissants to a girl who lives in a bakery. Thank goodness I didn't give them to her. I'm such an idiot.
An unknown number was calling him as he slowly picked up, "Hello?" "You're so heartless! Everyone's always coming to see me, how come you never show?" "How did you get my n—" "I was just thinking that I hadn't heard your voice lately. Hey, you're eating something?" "Yeah, a croissant." "Lucky you! I wish I could have a croissant." "I'll bring you some next time." "That's a promise, right?" "Yeah."
You're just like a cat. If I approach you, you turn tail and head off, far away. When you're hurt, you get all playful, as if you were trying to share your pain. That's why I adore you so much.
"I'd like to have my parent's croissants." "Okay." "Promise me." "Sure." A croissant eaten at night has a slight bittersweet taste to it.

"Croissant. Croissant. Vol-au-vent. Croissant." Marinette sang through the hallway of the hospital while walking back from the bathroom.
She tripped and landed on her knees, "Huh? Huh?" She moved her arms, breathing heavily. "Huh?" She put her hand on her head as she began sweating. Her hands reached out the the railing beside her as she tried to pull herself up, with heavy breaths. Unable to pull herself back up, she drops to the floor. Biting her lip to stop the flow of tears in her eyes.
She began punching her legs. "Stand up! Stand up! You're my legs, aren't you? Stand up! Come on, stand! Stand up!" She cried out tears now streaming. Her legs didn't respond at all and she was still unable to move them. She leaned into her hands and cried as loudly as she could.
