"What do you mean?" Chiron asked. Poor Chiron. He's been through a lot of problems and here's another one.
"I think Annabeth is gonna lead a quest to find a cure for the mist. Then maybe on the way, she meets the other three." Rachel sat uneasily. "I'm not really sure. My head is getting a bit fuzzy."
"Well, if she's going, I'm going. Together right?" Percy squeezed my hand. I smiled at him. I get the feeling that something bad will happen. Every second feels worse. I feel as if I won't see him for a long time.
I shouldn't think like that. I shouldn't. Percy promised he won't ever leave my side. Never again.
"Yes, together." I smiled back.
"Wait, if we do go on a quest where do we start? Where do we go?" Percy asked.
"I never thought about the mist. The way it works still confuses me. Hazel specializes in this. Maybe we should ask her."
"Good idea, Annabeth. As we contact Ms. Levesque, the two of you can carry on with your activities. We'll contiinue this later." Chiron motioned for us to leave.
"Chiron, wait." I started.
"Yes, child?" Chiron turned to me.
"You said earlier that you were glad that atleast we made it here. Does that mean that some didn't?"
"Unfortunately, yes. Some were reported to have died and some were missing." Chiron didn't meet my eyes.
"Missing?" Percy asked.
"I'd love to stay and answer that, Percy but I cannot. The gods forbid me to do so."
"Thanks anyways, Chiron." I said as I left the room.
Percy and I went to our respective cabins. Cabin Six. It's been my home for a very long time. I opened the door and saw a few of my half-siblings fixing their things back to their private chests.
"Hey, Annabeth!" Jenny-a 14 year old-greeted. She had brown hair-lucky her-and the gray eyes most Athena kids had. She wore this big glasses that she keep pushing back up because it keeps falling down. She once said that her dad gave it to her.
"Hey, Jenny. What's your schedule after Lunch?" I asked.
"Combat training, Pegasi Riding, and The lava wall." She closed her box. "I gotta go. I have Archery."
I turn to my bunk. Under the bed was where I keep my things. They were mostly books but I keep a few things from my past quests. It was sort of unsatisfying to know that Daedalus' laptop was lost in Tartarus. All those information lost, but it was better losing it than losing Percy.
I take my Camp Half-Blood shirt and a pair of short pants and headed to the bathrooms. I needed to change into my shirt.
As I got inside a stall, I heard a few girls go inside.
"Oh gods, that was totes creepy!" A girl-probably from the Aphrodite cabin-said.
"Yeah. I wonder who the unlucky one it is. To lead a Great Prophecy..." Another girl sighed.
"I wonder if Annabeth Chase has something to do with it. If she does, it's such a shame."
"Yeah. She's been through a lot. I feel sorry for her."
"Don't be." I opened the stall and the two looked at me.
"Annabeth!" The girls gasped. The two are clearly from the Aphrodite cabin. One of them looks like a 16 year old. She has this black coarse hair and her face was filled with make-up. I think her name was Hannah. The other one looked like a 13 year old. She had the same features as Hannah but the only difference was that her hair was brown.
"I'm not the only Child of Wisdom. I have siblings too." I said as I went towards the door. "Don't forget that."
I left them and went back to the cabin. There I found Evan-a 15 year old- sitting on a chair and looking at maps.
"Hey Evan." I greeted.
"Hello Cabin Counselor." He said without removing his eyes from the map he was reading.
I went ahead and sat on my bunk. I have Arts & Crafts right now. I sighed as I tied my hair and went to Arts & Crafts.
I have a long day ahead of me. I wish time would move even slower. I wish I didn't sleep after dinner. But, I did.
