The St. Boniface high school basketball for men is underway. Mick and Kay were attending as did Paul, Grady, Ed, Fran, Bill, Roy, Fred, Karl, Milt, Gary, Dave, Bobby, Ron, Wally, Stu and Doug and their wives and children.
Kay was at the women's bathroom washing hands, and the gunman was trying to take hostage for the girls, but suddenly the shot was fired by Kay and the rest of the women. Mick was at the women's bathroom, and it was Kay lying on the door, but dies instantly. Mick told the officers that he did not killed Kay, but it was the gunman who killed Kay. The woman who was involved in the shooting said the gunman was wearing a hoodie. The basketball game was cancelled due to shooting in the bathroom.
The news reporter said that one woman killed was Kay, and dozens were injured in the women's bathroom shooting. Three days later, the funeral was held for Kay. At the restaurant, Ron played the jukebox with a song called "Kay" by John Wesley Ryles. Marla Lynn and her best friend Kim Muehring came by to see Mick, but Kim already has her boyfriend named Michael Hannon.
Mick took Marla Lynn home after Kim called Michael and he takes her home. Nolan was so pleased for Marla Lynn and Mick, but their love life relationship may have started.
