At school before the blizzard, the Christmas movie is ripped off by the projector. But the snow is stuck and the kids did not come home. At high school, there still the same thing.
Paul, Grady, Ed, Fran, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl, Milt, Gary, Dave, Bobby, Ron, Wally, Stu, Doug and Jeff were trying to get the kids home from school.
Marla Lynn's friends Agnes Schmitz and Kim Muehring were at the bathroom where Marla Lynn was freezing.
Kyle, Laurie and Maura were at the classroom nearly freezing to death as Mitchell and Laurie's classmates Shelly, Sharon and Sandy Thelen were horrified about them. The first nine cousins Grady, Ed, Fran, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl and Milt went to the high school, and Paul, Gary, Dave, Bobby, Ron, Wally, Stu, Doug and Jeff were at the elementary school.
Mick found Marla Lynn in the hall after leaving the bathroom and he carries her to go home. Paul, Wally and Jeff found Kyle, Laurie and Maura until their parents came by. Marla Lynn, Kyle, Laurie and Maura were all okay.
