Cedric got accepted onto the Hufflepuff quidditch team. Jade was very excited to go watch him in the game that day. Then she remembered that she had forgotten to write back to her father. With all the excitement she had completely forgotten about the letter he had sent her a bit before. "Good luck in the game today!" She shouted after Cedric as he walked to the field. "Aren't you coming??" Cedric asked, a bit confused. "Yeah, I'm gonna come and watch you but I just need to get something done first.." Jade responded trying to act unsuspicious. "Okay, I'll see you afterwards then?" Cedric asked after. "Okay sounds good! Bye! Good luck!" Jade answered. She waved and giggled quietly. Then she focused. The letter, right. She picked out her quill and parchment out of her bag and on her lap she wrote to send out:
Dear father,
perhaps it would be better if I stayed, being a Slytherin would increase suspicion around me anyway. Being in Hufflepuff isn't as bad as I initially thought, and everybody is so kind and honest, I'm not going to get caught. I'm enjoying Hogwarts and in my house I've actually made some friends. I know it's not permanent and that it's basically just pretend. By the way, those people you were talking about, Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Nott, those people and the rest are in Slytherin and whatnot.
Jade placed her quill down and wrapped the letter in an envelope. She headed towards the quidditch field and stopped to go send an owl back to her father. Then she headed back to the quidditch field to go watch Cedric.
