"Oh, you got post?" Cedric asked. Jade looked at the letter, blank. "Are you okay? Hello? Who's it from?" Cedric asked again. "Oh, it's just someone from home." Jade responded quickly and moved the letter out of his sight. "Oh, alright. Are you okay, though?" Cedric asked again, a bit worriedly. "Yeah! I'm fine, I've um..got potions! So I'll uh catch up with you later?" Jade said. "Sure, I'll pick you up from class, cool?" Cedric said, better now. "Okay, love you!" Jade responded. Cedric called, "love you too!" And they parted separate directions. She stopped at a corner and read:

Daughter,

let me start with: DON'T involve yourself with boys. Unless you want me to put a curse on them, which I guess you want to avoid. Next, look further into how the Weasley girl got in. No one knows how except you and I, unless she's been...wait, the diary! I left in the possession of Lucius Malfoy! If I can't contact him, try to find out more about my diary through his boy. I'll be able to see you in person soon, for now, stay safe. You mean an awful lot to me. My plans, they've been delayed.

Jade crumbled the paper and threw it in her bag. She was furious. She had fell in love with Cedric now, and she also had to go find this Malfoy boy. She walked frustrated to potions and thought about what she was to do.
