Ch.11

Riley woke in bed and sighed. She was having a day out with her mum and sister. She was hoping that her family could be repaired.

Riley walked downstairs and smiled as she saw her mum. "What's the plan for today?" She asked as she took a bite of her sandwich.

Meredith smiled. "I'm thinking the beach. I know Aimee is pregnant. But she can still enjoy the beach."

"She isn't that far along mum."

"I know but the beach it is."

Riley nodded and smiled. She ate her sandwich just as she got a text from Simon;

Have fun today babe. I'll see you tomorrow - Simon xx

Riley grinned as she typed out a text back to him. Meredith smiled. "Has my little baby got a boyfriend she's not telling me about?" She asked.

Riley blushed and shook her head. "Not at all mum. Just saw something on Facebook."

Meredith nodded but she wasn't convinced.

Meredith drove over to Aimee's house. Riley grinned when her sister walked out. "Have you gotten your beach shoes on?" She asked.

Aimee nodded. "Mum text me the details when you were texting your boyfriend. Which by the way, you never told me about," Aimee said.

Riley rolled her eyes. "I don't have a boyfriend. Mum is getting her wires crossed again."

"Oh lovely. But you did have a smile on your face when you were on your phone," she told her.

"Okay let's just be quiet now."

The three of them arrived at the beach. Riley walked down to the sea and took a photo of herself for Simon.

She sent it him and smiled as she saw her mum and sister talking. She knew that things were tense with them all and that Riley wanted nothing more than her family back together.

Riley smiled as she saw a little family. She wanted that with Simon. Their own baby one day.

Riley knew that when their relationship came out, it wasn't going to be easy at all. It was going to be hard. Especially as people would think Simon abused his position of trust.

But Riley knew it wasn't like that at all. She knew that they had consented to their relationship. Riley smiled as she thought about the first time they had sex. It was passionate.

As the day went on, Riley found herself loving her time with her mum and sister. She smiled. "Aimee is obviously naming her baby after me. I mean she loves me and I'm her favourite sister."

"You're my only sister dweeb. But Riley is being incorporated into the name," Aimee said.

Riley grinned and nodded. She sighed as she saw a text from Simon saying he couldn't wait to see her.

Aimee frowned. "You know if you do have a boyfriend, you can talk to me. I won't judge you," she told her.

"I know. But I don't have a boyfriend. I'm talking to someone. But I don't think it's serious yet," she told them.

Riley knew that she and Simon were in fact serious. But she knew that if she were to say anything, then her family would want to meet him. And she couldn't do that.

But Riley had no idea that her relationship with Simon was about to be exposed... and it was going to change it all.
