I heard mom and Grayer come back and went to welcome them. I was in the middle of homework but it was fine. "Hey mom." No answer. She just walked off. Typical. "Hey buddy how was the park." He ran up to hug you. "It was good Charlie! (Charlie is short for Charlotte) But we are getting a new nanny." He frowned. You laughed. You didn't need a nanny. You have been taking care of yourself since you could walk. I do everything around the house and actually do the shopping. I know I'm only 12 but if my mom doesn't do it and my dad is never home then I guess I will do it. And if your wondering about the nanny's they don't actually do anything. "No bud you are getting a new nanny. And she will be amazing." You reassured. He sighed and nodded then ran of to go play. You were about to go finish homework but noticed the list of things to do. Here we go.
You have done everything on the list. Dishes, grocery shopping, cleaning and now cook. That's what you were doing right now. "Charlotte. You will give the rules to the Nanny tomorrow after you get home from school correct?" You nodded. "Yes mother" she nodded and added "remember what room she is sleeping in?" You sighed, "can't she sleep in the gue-" Your mother cut you off. "Ah ah ah don't even dare finish that sentence young lady. We already talked about this." She walked off. You sighed and teared up a bit but you didn't cry as you heard your little brothers footsteps approach you. "Is dinner almost done Charlie?" You nodded and ruffled his hair. "Yeah bud sit at the table it's just coming" He did as told.
Once you were done you put Grover back to bed and didn't sleep till 2:34am. Today was a school day and you didn't have one single friend. You didn't know why. They all just picked on you. Shove you into lockers, gum in your hair, rip your work into pieces and name calling. Yeah your that kid.
After school you remembered the Nanny coming today. You rushed home said hey to Hayden. He was your neighbour and really nice as-well. You opened up the door and Grover was sat in the floor with his toys wearing only his boxers. "Hey bud where are your clothes and where is the Nanny?" He shrugged. "I don't like her so I don't listen to her." I rolled my eyes but smiled. He then added. "And she is in the guest rooms bathroom taking a bath." Your eyes widened. She shouldn't be in there and you didn't want her to get in trouble so you rushed in.
You cleared your throat. She jumped and looked at you confused. "Who are you?" You shook your head. "I would get out the bath if I were you. this sadly isn't your room." She nodded and you waited for her outside. Once she was ready she gathered her stuff and followed you to the crappiest room there. "Uh it's umm nice and cosy" You giggled. "You don't have to lie it's a bad room. I did ask for her to get you the guest room but she refused so I'm sorry" She smiled at you. "It's okay what's your name? I'm Annie Braddock." She took out her hand. You smiled and took it. "Charlotte." There was silence and then you explained the rules. She nodded. "If there is anything you need help with come get me and would you like anything just now?" You asked her. She looked confused. "Are you another Nanny? Aren't you like 9?" I giggled. "No im his sister and I'm 12." She shot you a confused glance. "She never mentioned you." "Shocker." You said, sarcasm lacing your voice. She furrowed her eyebrows at you. You waved her off "well I will be elsewhere, bye Annie." She smiled. "Bye Charlotte."
