Annie woke up to your screams. She bolted to your room to see you shaking and muttering stop in your sleep. She rushed over and pulled you to her chest. "Charlotte please wake up. Char come on it's not real." She coaxed. You shot up whimpering. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" you kept muttering. "Sweetie what are you sorry for? You did nothing wrong, it was just a nightmare." She soothed you.
You were in a ball on your bed crying and shaking with sobs. "Come here" Annie cooed. You crawled over onto her lap. She laid down with you in her arms. "Go back to sleep, it's not real sweetheart. I'm here I won't let anyone hurt you." You nodded and yawned. She smiled gently at you. "Sleep Char I'm right here." You soon fell back asleep and Annie waited a bit then picked you up and went to her room. It was cooler in there and you were glistening with sweat. She laid on the bed and soon fell asleep holding you close.
You woke up to the sound of a hairdryer. "Morning hun" Annie said. "Morning" you whispered not quite fully awake. She was about to leave the room and get you food but she felt a small hand clutch hers. She looked down to you seeing you clutch onto her arm as if your life depended on it. She smiled and walked to the kitchen. She got you a love of fruit to chew on as you were not very hungry. "Want to do something?" You shrugged your shoulders and she nodded. "I'm gonna get something from my room I will be back in a minute." You held her hand again scared of being alone.
Believe it or not you have never actually had a nightmare. So this was scary so your idea was to be right next to Annie all day. She bent down a little to lift you up seeing as your just gonna be with her. You relaxed into her arms. "Don't leave me Annie.." you whispered. She looked confused. "I would never do that sweetie." You nodded. She got the thing from her room and carried you to the living room and put on (Y/F/M). You were sat in her lap while she played with your hair.
You turned to face her and she smiled at you. You hugged her. She laughed. "What this for?" You still stayed there. "For being there for me." She smiled. "Of course I will always be there for you (yep she ain't leaving in this book) and I am so proud of you for everything." You smiled widely as tears made their way down your face. Happy tears. You hugged her back tightly and stayed there. Let's just say you were with Annie for the whole day and never left her side.
