Asterin stared at the wall in front of her as Narcissa worked to remove the Muggle stitches. It had been four weeks since her lashing and two weeks since her last nightmare. Or vision. Whatever Narcissa thought.

"There will be scars," Narcissa told her softly.

Asterin didn't acknowledge her words. It was her own fault. Trapped in her darkness she had reopened her wounds a total of five times before she managed to control her.. outbursts. Severus had managed to keep making excuses as to why she was absent and why Draco wasn't sleeping at the school.

He refused to let her sleep alone, even when the outbursts stopped.

"Is she ready? We have to be at Hogwarts in ten minutes," Draco spoke through the door. It brought goosebumps to her skin.

"Just a minute, Draco. I'm working on the last one." Asterin could almost smile at how frustrated she sounded with her son. He threw a whole fit when Narcissa pushed him out of the room. He couldn't understand why Asterin needed privacy when he's seen all of her already. Narcissa almost killed her only son that day.

"If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to Owl me." Narcissa pulled out the last stitch before helping Asterin pull her shirt back down. She made Asterin turn around and placed her hands on her cheeks. Asterin managed a small smile.

"Don't let Draco baby you too much. He'll get it in his head that you need him and refuse to let you leave his sight. He'll make stupid decisions."

Asterin nodded and with a kiss to Narcissa's cheek, she left the bathroom. She grinned at the sulking boy sitting on the bed. It looked as if he was pouting.

"My darling boy, quit that sulking and come kiss your mother goodbye." Draco huffed and stood up to engulf his mother in a hug and left a kiss to her cheek.

"Do be careful when you Apparate. Her wounds are closed, but one thing goes wrong and they'll open up." Draco gave her a curt nod.

"Goodbye sweet girl," she whispered in her ear when she hugged Asterin one more time. Asterin pulled away and took Draco's hand, and in a blink of an eye they were back at Hogwarts with 5 minutes to spare.

"How's your back?" He murmured to her softly. Asterin nodded her head and released his hand to make her way to her dorm to get ready for morning classes. If she looked back, she would have seen Draco's walls crumple into ash when she pulled away.

The Dark Lord had finally managed to destroy a piece of her soul.

"I don't bloody know!"

Asterin looked down at her nails before continuing to paint them a dark green - an almost black.

"A little help would be nice, Asterin."

The female paused and looked up then rose an eyebrow. "I don't know. You look like you got this." She gave him a charming smile before painting over her pinky nail.

"Jesus fuck, Draco! Control your woman."

A chuckle sounded behind her.

"It's amusing you think I'm able to control her," his voice purred and shivers ran down her spine. His fingers continued to work through her hair and draping it over his lap.

"I don't understand why you are making this such a big deal. It's only Luna. I highly doubt she gives a fuck what you're wearing," she scoffed and looked to Blaise again.

"I give a fuck and I want to fucking sweep her off her feet with a bomb arse outfit."

The group all looked at him strangely.
