A/N: this is based off a head canon i have since i'm an akaashi kinnie and am very fond of this topic :)

Akaashi had been into Greek mythology for all of his teenage years. Bokuto knew this. He wanted to impress Akaashi and give them something else to talk about by getting into Greek mythology as well. Akaashi could tell he was interested, but hasn't done as much reading as Akaashi did. So, being the adorable boyfriend he is, decided to try something, to see if Bokuto would notice.

Bokuto just could not concentrate. It's almost never been a problem for him until now. He keeps thinking about Akaashi, he hasn't seen him all weekend. 'I wonder what he's doing right now..' "Bokuto-san?" He jerked his head up, realizing he must've gotten lost in his thoughts again. "Can you answer the question?" 'Shit,' he thought. "No sir, I apologize." The teacher just tsked, then called on someone else, while he glanced at the clock above the door before going back to his thoughts. 'Just 5 more minutes. Then you can see him.' It's almost as if time decided to speed up in that moment, because in what Bokuto thought to be a blink of an eye, the bell rang.

Bokuto jumped out of his seat and almost broke the door trying to get out, not even trying to acknowledge everyone's comments about how he's trying to break the door just to see his boyfriend. He bolted down the hallway to Akaashi's classroom, just in time to see him look up with a fond smile. "Hello, Bokuto-san." Said boy didn't even try to comprehend what he just said, he just ran toward Akaashi and wrapped him in what Akaashi could call the world's biggest hug. "You miss me that much? I didn't expect to be gone all weekend."

Bokuto released him and pulled a chair in front of Akaashi's desk. "Of course I did, I miss you when you're not with me." Akaashi looked up with a sweet smile and replied easily, "Awe, I miss you too." Bokuto smiled and started talking about this new receive he was trying to master, when Akaashi pulled out an apple.

Bokuto was mid-sentence when all of a sudden, Akaashi leaned forward, noses almost touching, and just above a whisper, made one simple demand. "Catch." He leaned back, throwing the apple in the air. Out of surprise, Bokuto caught it in one hand. "What's this for, 'Kaashi?" "Bokuto, do you know what it means in Greek mythology when someone throws an apple to you and you catch it?" Bokuto really had to think about this one for a minute, he knew that he hadn't done as much research as Akaashi, but he just couldn't put his finger on it. He tilted his head slightly, and Akaashi smiled with a blush.

"Bokuto, it means that I just proposed to you, and by catching it, you accepted my proposal." He let this sink in for a minute. 'Akaashi?? Proposed to me?! No way, this is a dream, it's gotta be.' He looked up at Akaashi to be met with an expectant face. Just to be sure, he pinched his thigh from under the desk. Nope, not a dream. He looked up at him again, with the biggest smile anyone could think of. "AGAASHIOHMYGOSHYOUPROPOSEDTOMEILOVEYOUSOMUCHOFCOURSEIACCEPT-" "Bo, calm down baby. I can't understand a word you're saying." Akaashi let out a small laugh, but to Bokuto it was the greatest thing in the world. "What I was trying to say was, I love you 'Kaashi, of course I accept. One question though." Akaashi looked at him with curiosity, "Yes, Kou?" "Who's family are we telling first?"

A/N: i know there was a lot of random stuff at the beginning, but i have to build some kind of plot. i actually really like the head canon that Akaashi is into mythology, i think it's cute. i hope you liked this though, and idk how much longer it's gonna be until i get the next chapter out- i'm sorry :,) ~CJ
