it was soon evening, anakin and i had been out on the balcony getting to know each other further. he spoke very highly of his late mother who passed when he was merely a boy.

"she was a very important woman in my life." he mumbled, looking down at his feet.

"i'm sure she was beautiful." i reassured him, brushing his cheek with my hand.

"she was. she would have liked you very much." he grinned, looking up at me.

his wavy locks sparkled under the sun, and his blue eyes glistened, matching the colour of the lake we overlooked. and his adam's apple - when he occasionally moved his head to the side to scratch his neck.

i noted down the small things he did in my head, noticing all of his habits. like for example - the way he bounces his leg up and down when he is sitting, or when he leans forward on his knees to come closer to me when we sit together.

i couldn't believe i was falling for a guy who was so out of my league.

"aria?" he asked me, snapping me out of my daydream.

"i'm sorry i was day dreaming." i laughed, moving my hand onto the stone wall of the balcony.

he laughed, and his dimples became prominent. his teeth were a pearly white, and he made me stutter for a moment.

"i wanted to... talk to you about something." he stepped forward, putting his hands behind him. he became slightly serious, like before.

"what is it?" i replied, concerned.

"i've been having - dreams." he stopped midway through his sentence, "they aren't normal dreams aria."

"what happened in these dreams?" i clasped his hand, holding it with both of mine.

"i lost everyone. i saw all of the people i love- care about, die." tears welled up in his eyes, and he flashed away his glance, wiping away the incoming tears.

he looked back at me slowly, his eyebrows furrowed and his bottom lip quivering.

"you died - in my dream - aria." he stepped forward again.

"i- i can't lose you." he stuttered as he took both of my hands, and held them up to his chest, his breath becoming rapid.

i kissed him as soon as he finished his sentence, hoping that his tears would stop falling.

"anakin. look, i'm not dying any time soon. i'm here. i'm safe!" i looked deep into his eyes, reassuring him in a serious tone.

he nodded his head, looking at our intertwined hands and shaking them slightly. he hesitated, letting them go.

"i can't be responsible for your death." he backed away, shaking his head this time, "i won't- i won't be." he spat, anger forming on his face.

"anakin, you're being stupid-" i stopped, regretting what i said.

he stopped in his tracks.

"i care for you aria, i'm not going to let this happen to you. i'm gonna talk to master yoda."

he left almost immediately, leaving without any sort of goodbye.

i was still stood out on the balcony, cold and confused. my mind flooding with sympathy. his dreams can't be true, can they?

*A FEW HOURS LATER*

i was sat wrapped in the silk sheets reading my latest novel: lascivious. it was a descriptive book- descriptive as in 50 shades of grey. not something i would usually go for, but the story line had me hooked.
