SWITCHING TO THIRD PERSON MY LOVES

it had been a few weeks, and anakin found himself turning completely soft. aria had the biggest impact on him - and still made his heart melt at every little touch. he listened to her words intently, feeling his knowledge grow stronger. if that was even possible. he also found his stubbornness slowly disintegrate. her impact on him was wholly positive - and he was eternally grateful, because she ultimately makes him a better person. and he accepts that.

on top of this domestic life they enjoyed living, the wedding plan was well underway. aria found herself hibernating in the study like a whomper. while anakin kept to his thoughts - training in the endless amounts of greenery in their back garden. as aria sat still at her mahogany desk, several clever ideas for the ceremony began to flood through her brain, while anakin slid himself in without her noticing.

he stood silently for a few minutes, admiring her beauty under the gleaming sunlight. he felt himself smile in reaction to her still face - before he gave away his position by chuckling at her softly. she flinched at the sight of him, thinking he was an intruder. his dark robes made him seem unsettling from the corner of her eye.

"oh stars you scared me!" she flinched, lifting herself from her seat as she clutched her rapid-beating heart.

"i am awfully sorry m'lady, i was busy admiring your resting bitch face." he joked, holding up his hands in a surrender. smirking at his sarcastic comment he made.

"i don't think it's quite sunk in that i am engaged to the biggest dick in the galaxy."

"no no, your fiancé has the biggest dick in the galaxy." he smirked, stalking up to her with his hands behind his back.

"ha ha! you're so funny!" she laughed, smacking his chest with force. his expression going from sarcastic to loving.

"what have you been up to anyway huh?"

his eyes searched her desk as he picked up the nearest sheet of paper he had seen, studying the intricate details that she had gone over. and drawn herself. "these are impressive! never knew you planned things so proper."

"back handed compliment or what!" she giggled, taking the paper from him and looking at it the way he did. with admiring eyes.

"what have you decided on?"

"i like the idea of a light colour scheme. maybe certain little intricate details associated with the lighting. you know - gold etchings and linings around the ceiling. a big chandelier..."

his eyes widened at her thoughts, realising that was the polar opposite of what he wanted. in his mind, he pictured it as an outdoor wedding, with only people close to them, and whom he trusted. no strangers, no big gathering - just something special for him, his wife and his family.

"so you're into fancy fancy stuff then huh?"

"well - if you put it that way." she giggled, running her hand back through her hair as she put it into a messy bun. placing herself back on the lounge chair with her notes.

aria began to imagine the ceremony clearer. anakin awaiting her arrival at the end of the aisle, obi wan beside him. din clutched onto her arm as they strolled the aisle together. it was perfect in her mind.

"can i suggest something?" he asked, looking down at her from above the seat. his brow furrowing as his thoughts followed hers.

"of course! help yourself."

he sat himself on the floor, crunching his knees up to his chest, using his metal hand as a table to write on. he focused deeply on his drawings, biting his lip without realising as his thoughts ran wild. aria felt her cheeks rise in heat, she quickly covered her face with a pillow, still gazing at anakin from above it.

"stop staring at me. i'm concentrating." he commanded, a small smile forming on his face as he realised that she dropped her jaw open in annoyance.

"i'm not staring."

of course that was a lie. how could she not admire him? her jedi knight fiancé. who was sculpted like a fine sculpture. in her eyes, he was perfect.

"ha - whatever you say." he sighed, eventually passing her the paper that he'd been working on. hope in his eyes as it reached her silk finger tips.

"let's see." she whispered, her eyes falling over the paper to see that it was a small gathering. minimal people, and barely any decorations.

"well?" he smiled as he bit his bottom lip, switching his gaze from her expression to the paper.

"it's certainly a work of art." she grinned, tracing her finger across the lines he'd drawn. trying to seem enthusiastic.

"you don't like it." he added, taking the paper from her and ripping it in two. "i don't have a say in this do i?"

"you know i've always dreamed of a big wedding ani!"

she scrambled to her feet, finding her place by his side. resting her head between his knees like a puppy. he lifted his head away, closing his eyes tight shut before he caved to her pleads.

anakin sighed. "i know! i know. just, can we compromise?"

"how're we gonna do that? you're probably the most stubborn person i know-"

she stopped midway as she noticed his sarcastic smile turn into a cold stare. his ocean blue's soon turning into lava red's. she felt goosebumps cover her body in an instant, her trusted lightsaber rose from its holster. anakin was using the force. but what was he doing? she had always been cheeky. but she'd never seen him this way.

"a-anakin?" she laughed nervously, watching her lightsaber rise to her eye level. his gaze stayed upon her, his fierce intent was clear for almost a second. until it dropped onto her lap.

"i need a second outside. if you'll excuse me." he began, stepping outside before she noticed he'd become rather tempered. aria nodded quaintly in reply, nervous by his state, but carried on with her drawings. keeping an eye on the door - waiting him to appear as some sort of sith lord.

she sat alone, wondering what he was doing. what he was thinking, and what happened earlier. "his eyes." she muttered, thinking back to the way they shifted slightly. until she realised that the possibilities are endless, and that their time on the seperatist ship may have affected him in some way or another. either way, she was going to find out how and why her fiancé was turning into the devil.
