Divergent High

Chapter eleven

Tris' POV

Once we are all done with dinner, I offer to do the dishes but my new mom told me that it was okay and she would get them. I didn't object because was already tired so I got on the elevator and pressed the button for floor four to see how my room turned out. What I saw was not what I expacted though.

When I steped out of the elevator I saw the whole gang waiting for me either sitting on my bed or in some beanbag chairs that had been placed in my room. Everything was unpacked and there were no boxes in site. "What are you guys doing here?!" I ask as I run up and hug everyone. "Well we," Uriah starts gesturing to himself and Zeke, "live here." After he says this I roll my eyes and look to the rest of the group. "What about you guys?" I ask them.

"Well we wanted to help you get settled in so we got you some new furniture and unpacked the boxes while you were eating," Toias tells me as he pulls me onto his lap. "You guys didn't have to do this," I tell them. "Oh, but we did. We wanted to suprise you anyways," Christina tells me.

I take a good look at my new room. There are now black walls with splotches of light gray in a few places. There is one wall that has a huge window in the middle. Surrounding the window is all my posters that I have. On the opposite wall is my bed. It has black covers with white details. There is not a dresser because there is a huge closet connected to the bathroom. 

The bathroom has all really nice apliences and is painted white with black tiles. "This is amazing guys!" I shout and pull Tobias even tighter. "Candor or Dauntless time!!" Uriah shouts and hurds us into a circle. "I'm starting!" Zeke shouts. "Okay, fine," I tell him.

"Four, C or D?" he ask with an evil grin on his face. "Dauntless," he answers. "I dare you to run up and down the street in your underwere screaming 'Have you seen my pet unicorn? His name is fluffykins and I can't live without him!' then slap then fisrt person who tries to talk to you," Zeke says. "Fine," Tobias says reluctantly. "I'll go video it," Will says pulling out his phone.

After an hour, we have learned that Christina is afriad of moths, and almost everyone is down to their underwere. "It's getting late, we should get some sleep," I tell everyone. "Okay, but let's sleep over!" Christina shouts. All the cuples got their own room and Lynn got her own room as well. 

"So, how do you like living wih the Pedrads?" Tobias asked me after we had settled down in my bed. "I like it a lot. Hana is really nice and I love the fact that I don't have to seen my family ever again,"I respond. "Well, I'm glad you're happy," he tells me before he kisses my forehead. "Plus I know if anyone tries to hurt you here, Zeke will have a fit and probably kill whoever it is," he tell me as he moves his head an kisses my cheek. I fall asleep just like this, nuzzled against Tobias as I listen into the darkness as sleep finally overcomes me.
