Tris' POV

I get off the elevator when it reaches my room and I go straight to the bathroom and hop into a shower. Christina is one of my best friends, but I hate it when she makes me go shopping. When I am done in my shower, I head to my closet and grab my clothes.

I decided to put on a sweater with hearts on it, some light gray skinny jeans, my combat boots, and a burgendy beanie. By the time I was done with my make up, the elevator doors opened and Chris walked out. "You ready Tris?" she questioned as I walked over. "As ready as I ever will be to go shopping," I tell her pressing the button to call the elevator.

------------TIME--------LAPS-------

After what felt like ten hours of being at the mall, Christina says we can break for lunch. She has made me buy at least twenty bags worth of clothing. I decide to go find a place to sit, but before I make it to the bench, some one walks up behind me and hitsme on the back of the head. After that, everything goes black.

Christina's POV

When I walk over to where Tris said she was going to be, I couldn't find her so I tried to call her phone. It went strait to voicemail. Oh god. Where could she be! I know what I have to do. I set up a group chat with everyone and text them.

C- Guys, get to mall quick. Tris is gone.

4- On my way.

U,Z- Coming.

L,S,M- Allready here, where are you?

C- By waterfall.

God I hope we can find her.

Tobias' POV

I pull into the mall parking lot and get out of my car. Where did Christina say she was? I check my messages. Waterfall. I walk in and not far ahead is Zeke and Uriah. "Hey guys," I shout as I jog to catch up. "Hey," Uriah says, in a to perky tone or the situation. Zeke says 'Hey' but in a much more serious tone.

When we reach the waterfall, the girls are already there. "Okay, so, we were shopping, right, and I decided to let Tris stop and rest. I went to go get us some food, but when I came here, which is where we were meeting back up, she was gone!" Christina says, throwing her hands in the air as she does. "Who would want to do this?"  I ask. I am really worried about her.

"Well, let's make a list. There's Peter and his gang, Lauren and the rest of the cheer squad, Al always had a thing against Tris..." Will is cut off by the ringing of my phone. I know the ringtone though. It's Tris' phone. I answer, but Tris is not the one on the other end.

"So, I have found the one thing that makes you the moost vunrable. Your dear Tris." Marcus. I put the phone on speaker so everyone can hear. "Put me on with her," I demand. "No," Marcus spits back. "What do you want from me in exchange for Tris?" I ask, my voice getting shakey. "I want money, to get out of the country. Get me $10,000 dollars in my mailbox by nine-thirty and your dear Tris will be in front of the mailbox by nine-thirty-five," he demands. "Fine," I spit back and end the call.

"Me and Uri got this covered," Zeke says as he pulls out his phone. He dials a number and puts it to his ear. "Hey mom? Yeah, it's Zeke. Listen, Tris is in a bit o trouble and we need $10,000 to get her out. Okay? Okay. Thanks mom!" With that he ends the call. "So now all we do is wait til' nine-thirty!" I say and walk over to sit on the bench. This is going to be a long wait.
